This is my very first post for #THREETUNETUESDAY or #TTT started by @ablaze.

I have seen many entries in the past and had been nudged by @jasperdick that I should have a go myself.
I won't be as productive as him but I'd like to join here from time to time.

My Entries

I thought that for today I could perhaps share three songs that I played at a wedding three weeks ago.
You can find my other songs and some pictures in this post.

If there has to be some connections between the songs then I'd say it's these:

1. Three fantastically strong female performers!
2. The song themes are about carrying on after some turmoil in life and getting stronger in the process
3. They were all part of my set.. 😁

And here they come

Number 1: "Hand In My Pocket" by Alanis Morissette

Apart from forgetting which letters in her surname double up I also struggled to remember the lyrics of this song! 🙄
A song that tells some story is easiest to remember I find, but this is just full of contradictions..
But, hey, it's Alanis!! Think I've got it now though.. 😄

Number 2: "Rolling In The Deep" by Adele

The woman with an incredibly wide vocal range! For many years I hadn't dared to attempt this one and only recently started giving it a shot.
It's coming along and I will prepare more Adele songs in the future.

Number 3: I Will Survive

This one is a classic for me and makes me sing along as soon as I hear it which was the case when I saw @jasperdick do it. He kindly provided some chords for it and it sure makes a great addition to my songbook!
