1st Day Off: March 4 2024
The day off started quite nicely, although frosty, with a lovely little walk in the morning. I didn't quite get to the 10k mark but at least I got across the 5k.

I had the new broadband installed in the morning causing a power cut. When it happened, I thought, that's all I need on my days off.. 🙄
The young engineer was more worried than me though, he kept trying to turn things back on, but it kept switching off for a while until it finally stayed on.. phew.
I've prepared an Irish songbook for a gig on the 15th; it'll be with my friends Ray and Mike if all goes according to plan. We've done those sort of songs in the past, long time ago, though, but it should be a blast.
I had a few deliveries too, one being a massive bag on wheels for my new keyboard. I loaded it up to see how much fits in; I got the stand and stool in with as well and all together is quite heavy, but at least it's only one bag to log around, rather than lose bits or multiple bags.
I meant to take it to Shefford to support Ade who was running the open mic instead of Kev, but I just didn't feel it.. 😄
