70!!
You win some, you lose some.
I finally made it to 70, wow..
On the other hand did I lose my Duolingo streak the other day.. I was somewhere around the 390 mark.. 🫤
Live Savers is what Kev called us when he didn't have many people coming to Stevenage for his open mic.
We got a fair bit of time to play because he also suffered from not having much of a voice.
Finishing with Twist & Shout involving Kev in the action.

Hello Anna. As a fellow Duolingo user, I understand how painful it must be to lose 390 days. I myself am around that mark and if I lose mine now, I would probably just hate myself. I want to encourage you not to give up though. You can always try again and start again. Streak keeping can be fun but it was never the reason we started Duolingo. The reason was to learn another language so let that be our goal. Dont be downcast about it, just start over. Sometimes starting all over means starting stronger. By the way, amazing pictures with your friends😍

I'm not REALLY that fussed.. I only mentioned it because it fell together with my 70. I am a life-long learner and carry on regardless for sure.
Which language are tackling on Duolingo? Spanish maybe?
May I ask if you're using Hive mostly as a social platform and you are not interested in the rewards?
I have noticed that you comment a lot, but don't necessarily "like" the posts. You actually get rewarded for liking, so you may want to use that more. Just a thought.. 😃

Thank you so much for this. I had no idea that also works. I do like some posts too but I guess I comment more. It was not a conscious thing. I use Hive as a social platform and also for the rewards. I also love meeting new people, that is mostly my goal.
About Duolingo, I am learning french.

Congrats on 70 rep! Each extra number takes a bit longer. My Duolingo streak is over 300 and I hope to at least make it to a year, but do these things really matter? I still haven't paid to use the app.

No, it doesn't matter, but it fell together with my 70, so I thought it was worth mentioning.. lol
I wouldn't pay for the app for one reason: they constantly offer you these free trials but never easily tell you much you have to cough up.. I think it's around £7.50 or something. They need to be more open.
It was at the Marquis of Lorne. Nice little pub with appreciative punters..
Did you go on Wednesday?
I haven't sent anything for Sunday because I didn't want to recycle, but seems a lot of people have including Ray.. Maybe I need change ways or I'll never take part.. lol
Only six of us on Wednesday, so we had to play more songs. I did a new recording yesterday and extracted audio from a couple of videos that have been on Hive. I never do the theme though :)
