Gig Day: February 4 2024

Yesterday was gig day in St Neots. The Pig n Falcon is known for their heavier music sort of nights and when we went there to join one of their open mics we felt slightly out of place with our acoustic pop stuff, however, it was all well received at the time and some of the punters knew us from the other pub just up the road.

I got a little worried the nearer we got to this weekend and some duets where taken off the list that seemed a little bit too cheesy.
A day later I am thinking that I didn't need to worry at all! Colin, the man in charge, was very inviting and helpful and even joined us on a couple of songs using my bass.

I had so much fun this evening and getting some of the people better that I had met before; we were tasked to play three sets, from 17:00 until 20:00. I was knackered and still felt it this morning.. especially my feet..😂
But, oh my, it was great with people dancing and singing along, when to begin with they wouldn't clap but you saw feet and heads moving.. haha
Chances are that we will be back, which would be just amazing!
