Open Mic: January 22 2024
Open Mic night in Shefford. The queue of players was long and it got too late to play in the end. Next time we might be on earlier.
There was a new performer I've not seen before and it was supposedly his first ever outing. His guitar gave that away too as it looked very new indeed. He did some cool tunes and it was nice to see a newcomer who didn't have to rely on papers. We do see too many people who do the same songs over and over and never move away from that.
The highlight of the night was Kev's giant bar of chocolate. He announced it on Facebook beforehand relying on the fact that all his chocolate loving friends will not be able to resist.. I was one of them; I was strong though, I only took one tiny piece..

Our GS mini was purchased new and had an extremely high action. Taylor sent us a prepaid box. We shipped the guitar back to them and they decided that they needed to replace the entire fretboard/ headstock because it was factory defective. It plays wonderfully now!🤗
