Open Mic: January 15 2024
Two Open Mics in a row, one on Sunday, one yesterday.
Both were AMAZING! Sunday we were in The Goat in Codicote where the locals just love the music, the atmosphere was fantastic! The pub organises Goatfest every year which happens on the last weekend of August.
Last night was the regular one at the Brewery Tap in Shefford, which was a total blast again because we all take the p.. out of each when things go wrong, which they did.. lol
Some started off in the wrong key and gave up on a song, I dropped my bass while we did "SOS" because the strap came undone, but we just went on.
I really ought to get a proper one and a gig bag as well. Poor thing. I think I got away with it though. Some practice is scheduled for later in preparation for Friday's gig.

I panicked on Sunday because I thought I had missed it until I realised.. 🤣
