Need for Speed: November 16 2023
Oh dear, I missed the start of Poliac; I really ought to spring back into action! 🏋️♀️
Anyhow, I am glad to announce that I found a job that I will start straight after my current one, so that's a relief. I'll be changing back into customer support and will look after the German market, which will be exciting! I actually have to learn some words for that that I've never heard of before.. would you believe it! 😄
The offices are in St Neots so I can cycle there, which is great because my car is in the garage and I dread to think what's going to come my way. 🙁
Three days in the office, two at home, perfect! I think Mia might not be too happy with me gone all day, but I'm sure she'll get used to it, she sleeps most of the day anyhow.. lol
A few images from Saturday's Open Mic at the Plume of Feathers hosted by our lovely Mark; he really manged to fill the house! Amazing.
I didn't play because of my cough but was able to sing "Don't you want me" with Steve which was great!
There were lots of faces from the local music scene but also loads of people who came to enjoy the stuff.

They make some great sound and will be playing at Club 85 in Hitchin just before Christmas.

That's great news on the job. Being able to cycle there is a bonus.

I've still got an interview to go to next week, just to keep my options open, but I think I'll stick with this one.. :)

Jim's invite was very limiting.. will other people in the group see the event even if not invited?
We need to feel our way with the new landlord, but a good turnout might help encourage him. They seem generally happy with us being there for the jams.
