Dakota: June 12 2023
I really struggled to walk during work, it was so humid, still I tried to trot on at a low pace sitting down from time to time.
We walked round the River Side Park in the morning through town and across the bridge first, then back by the church.
This is the view from the bridge looking North.
And here we are already in the park, it was a lovely morning, but already quite warm.
These were taken during the evening which was a slightly shorter walk.
Some family grooming going on here. They were all at it, the babies most likely copying Mum.
I did notice HOW MUCH cooler it got here when we got into the area of these very high and supposedly older trees. It just shows how much we would benefit from having more everywhere.
For the evening I went to Shefford again for Kev's open mic, which was great fun.
I tried to capture this performance, but there is no chance of getting a picture of Kev that isn't blurred. He's a right Zappelphilipp..
So, I took a video instead which is much more fun anyhow.

The hotter weather plus a/c makes for a vicious circle. Thermometer in my study says 25C and Nest says it's 28C outside. Being on the north side of the house helps a little.
It's all just madness.. And we're adding here too just by chatting.. 😥
I have two computers on here that don't help matters. Need to get those solar panels I've been wanting. I could be exporting power on a day like today.
