Chilly: June 5 2023
I must say that in the morning I didn't really feel like walking and we only did the shorter one around part of Henbrook Park, which is near our house.
The one in the afternoon straight after work was a nippy one; I had trusted the calendar and put a thinner fleece on only to regret it as soon as I walked out the door. The breeze was rather chilly, which is why I opted for the woody bit in Priory Park for some protection. I got warm as I went along though to be fair, as you do!
Over the weekend I often have more time to walk about, but during the week I'm glad to now have the treadmill to improve on the step count and I meant to get on it in the afternoon, but totally forgot about it.
Possibly two reasons: Work is busy at the moment and/or I just couldn't be a...
There is always activity on this bit; often I see a team doing some sort of bootleg training.
I drove to Shefford in the evening to meet Ray at the Open Mic run by Kev.
It was fairly quite, but that's nice too as it's more relaxed to try out stuff that might go wrong.. which it it did.. 😄
However, there was a couple at one table who sang along to literally EVERY song of the evening, they clearly enjoyed it.. Brilliant!
