Open Mic No 1 and No 2
We had our Open Mic scheduled for this afternoon, only to be let down by the bar owner.. 😕
Turns out that Landlord Ray of the Cricketers really does love us; he rushed straight to the pub to open it just for us when we phoned him to ask if we could play there! Amazing!
And a great afternoon it was indeed, we're even thinking of holding it there until he finally sells up.
Today was the first time I took Mia with me; here is my little princess doing her favourite trick "Pretty" in front of Ray, who is performing some Beatles numbers.
She is fast asleep now after all that excitement. No walk was required to tire her out.. lol

It all worked out in the end. It's a good thing we have contacts. It will be a shame when the Cricketers closes for good, but we may have an opening at our old haunt.
