Jamming: May 3 2023

Had a slow sort of day with Mia around town, but still got loads of steps in, just in more hours than usual.
In the evening we had our fortnightly jam session with only six of us, but a few punters at the bar and Landlord Ray himself!
When I arrived I found him sitting in the circle with his guitar, but I got the impression that, again, he didn't really play.
I do believe he writes songs, but I've not had the pleasure to hear any of them, wonder if I ever will.. 😄

I felt courageous enough to give "A Thousand Years" an outing after I only ever played it here on Hive, it went very well and will be repeated.

Sorry I didn't make it. I've heard Landlord Ray attempt to play songs a couple of times. I know he has some health issues, but he does love music and he's been very supportive of us. I guess you all got to do lots of songs last night. Sorry I couldn't make it. I do feel I need to learn some new songs, but have been working more on drums lately.

I just realised I didn't take pics of John and Lewis... 🙈
We did get a few songs out of it, yes.
I didn't stay very long, I felt a headache coming on, but it was good fun.
Richard was on top form and not tuning his guitar for too long for a change.. 😂
