📷 Forest tours in late fall

Hello dear friends,

I managed to complete a few forest tours on my MTB despite the constant rain. The mild temperatures provided good conditions for the typical late-autumn mushrooms. Of course, the well-known fly agaric is always a real eye-catcher.

Hallo liebe Freunde,

einige Waldrunden mit dem MTB habe ich trotz des "Pisswetters" mit Dauerregen absolvieren können. Die milden Temperaturen sorgten dabei für gute Bedingungen für die typischen spätherbstlichen Pilze. Ein echter Hingucker ist da natürlich immer der allseits bekannte Fliegenpilz.

A typical late fall mushroom here is the Clitocybe nebularis, syn. Lepista nebularis. This is now classified as a poisonous mushroom. However, we used to collect them extensively and eat them in mixed mushroom dishes. This mushroom is actually a real mass mushroom here every year, which also likes to appear in so-called elf circles.

Ein typischer Spätherbst Pilz ist bei uns der Nebelgraue Trichterling, auch Graukappe genannt. Dieser wird mittlerweile als Giftpilz eingestuft. Wir haben den früher aber ausgiebig gesammelt und in Pilzmischgerichten verzehrt. Dieser Pilz ist hier eigentlich jedes Jahr ein echter Massenpilz, der auch gerne in sogenannten Hexenringen auftritt.

Der klebrige Hörnling ist auch immer wieder ein Foto wert.

Even if you don't find any edible mushrooms, a forest tour in the golden yellow autumn forest is always worth a little trip.

Auch wenn man keine Speisepilze findet, ist eine Waldrunde im goldgelben Herbstwald immer eine kleine Reise wert.

And what great colors you can find there. For example, the amethyst deceiver (below).

Und was für tolle Farben da finden kann. Z.B. den Lila Lackpilz (Violetter Lacktrichterling) (unten).

Corals don't just grow in the sea. They can also be found in the forest. As mushrooms, of course ;-)

Korallen wachsen nicht nur im Meer. Es gibt sie auch im Wald. Als Pilze natürlich. ;-)
