Miercolés de Yes, and? -Ariana Grande [ESP | ENG]

En el mundo musical, tengo como favorita a Ariana Grande porque para mi representa el feminismo. Todo lo relacionado a la delicadeza, la sensualidad y el empoderamiento de la mujer. Entre sus canciones destaca Dangerous Woman o God Is A Woman, lo que la convierte en una artista femenina popular en la industria musical y es una de mis favoritas.

Además es importante recordar que Ariana tenía desde el año 2020 sin sacar música en solitario, ahora, después de mucho tiempo, nos trajo con este nuevo año un nuevo single llamado "Yes, and?" que ha entrado en el puesto número 1 de Spotify y se ha convertido en la mejor canción hasta ahora. Por ello, quise venir a hacer una reseña sobre esta canción porque a pesar de ser un hit a nivel musical, tiene un mensaje que a mi me encanta y lo he tomado como prioridad de ahora en adelante. Aquí les hablo de la canción, lo que significa para mi y se las comparto.

Ariana Grande as my favorite in the music world because she represents feminism. Everything related to delicacy, sensuality, and empowerment of women. Among her songs, Dangerous Woman or God Is A Woman stands out, which makes her a popular female artist in the music industry and she is one of my favorites.

Also it is important to remember that Ariana has since 2020 without releasing solo music, now, after a long time, she brought us this new year a new single called "Yes, and?" which has entered the number 1 spot on Spotify and has become the best song so far. That's why I wanted to come and review this song because despite being a hit on a musical level, it has a message that I love and I have taken it as a priority from now on. Here I talk about the song, and what it means to me and share it with you.

Durante todo este tiempo Ariana Grande ha estado en la crítica del ojo público, debido a su cambio físico, ya que, ha adelgazado demasiado y personas hirientes que juzgan sin saber la han catalogado de anoréxica cuando simplemente padece de Hipoglucemia, una disminución de los niveles de azúcar lo cual produce cambios en el cuerpo trayendo consigo sus respectivos síntomas. La canción yes, and? ha sido una respuesta a las críticas,sobre todo al que dirán y donde tu mismo tienes que ser tu mejor amigo, ya que, tú, al final del día eres el único que te tienes.

El estilo de la música me trae una vibra a Madonna, que sobre todo me encanta, porque no es copia sino que hay artistas que toman ese tipo de estilo y lo adaptan a los suyos para que luego se pueda convertir en una joya. Al principio noto que comienza con un ritmo pop, lo cual me gusta y la escenografía es fantástica. ¿Y si hablamos de la coreografía? ¡Es la mejor de todas!

During all this time Ariana Grande has been criticized by the public eye, due to her physical change, since she has lost too much weight and hurtful people who judge without knowing have labeled her as anorexic when she suffers from Hypoclycemia, a decrease in sugar levels which produces changes in the body bringing with it its respective symptoms. The song Yes, and? has been a response to the critics, especially to what they will say and where you have to be your best friend, since, at the end of the day you are the only one who has you.

The style of the music brings me a Madonna vibe, which I especially love because it's not a copy but some artists take that kind of style and adapt it to their own so that it can then become a gem. At the beginning, I noticed that it starts with a pop rhythm, which I like and the scenography is fantastic, and if we talk about the choreography, it's the best of all!

La letra comienza con "in case you haven't noticed well, everybody's tired and healing from somebody or something we don't see just right" donde todo el mundo está cansado y curandose de alguien o algo que no vemos bien. Esto refleja mucho en que cada uno tenemos luchas internas, lo suficiente como para poder lidiar con el señalamiento o críticas de alguien más.

Hay una parte del siguiente verso que resalta más el significado de la canción en sí "And if you find yourself in a dark situationJust turn on your light and be like Yes, and? Say that shit with your chest and be your own fucking best friend say that shit with your chest Keep moving like: What's next? Yes, and(Yeah)" Si te encuentras en una situación oscura y donde no confies en ti mismo, solo toma la actitud de creer en ti y decirle simplemente al mundo "Si, y?" sin importar las opiniones. Esta es la actitud que todos deberiamos implementar en este año 2024 y solo así, seremos felices con nosotros mismos.

The lyrics begin with "in case you haven't noticed well, everybody's tired and healing from somebody or something we don't see just right" where everybody is healing from somebody or something we don't see just right. This reflects a lot in that we each have internal struggles, enough to be able to deal with someone else's finger-pointing or criticism.

There is a part of the following verse that highlights more the meaning of the song itself "And if you find yourself in a dark situation turn on your light and be like Yes, and? Say that shit with your chest and be your own fucking best friend say that shit with your chest Keep moving like: What's next? Yes, and(Yeah)" If you find yourself in a dark situation where you don't trust yourself, just take the attitude of believing in yourself and simply tell the world "Yes, and?" regardless of opinions. This is the attitude we should all implement in this year 2024 and only then, we will be happy with ourselves.

Esta es la parte que más me encanta de toda la canción, sobre todo practicamente aquí Ariana Grande habla con la verdad, si tus asuntos son tuyos y los míos son míos ¿Por qué te importa tanto sobre mi vida? La mejor parte es "No comentes sobre mi cuerpo, no respondas" Si mi cuerpo es mío, no debería importarte absolutamente si engordo o adelgazo porque cada uno pasa por situaciones diferentes. Todos deberíamos ser amables unos con otros, sin embargo, aún nos falta por meternos más en los asuntos nuestros que los demás. Porque es cierto, es válido las críticas constructivas pero si vienen desde lo destructivo, es cuando cambia todo el panorama. This is the part I love the most in the whole song, especially practically here Ariana Grande speaks the truth, if your business is yours and mine is mine why do you care so much about my life? The best part is "Don't comment on my body, don't respond" If my body is mine, you should not care if I get fat or thin because everyone goes through different situations. We should all be kind to each other, however, we still have yet to get more into our own business than others.
