Muchas gracias por estar aquí, mi nombre es Andrea Morales y en esta oportunidad les estaré hablando un poco sobre mi, mi trayectoria en distintas áreas del arte, sobre todo en la música, y lo que tengo para mostrarles por acá, ¡espero lo disfruten!

Thank you very much for being here, my name is Andrea Morales and in this video I will be telling you a little about myself, my career in different areas of art, especially in music, and what I have to show you here, I hope you enjoy it!

Mi amiga y compañera de banda @oripenalver me hablo de esta gran comunidad, inmediatamente sentí mucha afinidad con todo este mundo. Luego en una noche de show, en la ciudad de Caracas, ella me presentó a @dimeilaz, alguien amable y súper buena onda, quien me orientó y me ayudó en todo el proceso para estar aquí, ¡Gracias Ori! ¡Gracias Ilaz!

My friend and bandmate @oripenalver told me about this great community, I immediately felt a lot of affinity with this whole world. Then in a show night, in the city of Caracas, she introduced me to @dimeilaz, someone kind and super cool, who guided me and helped me in the whole process to be here, Thanks Ori, thanks Ilaz!

Mi nombre es Andrea Morales, tengo 22 años de edad, nací en Barquisimeto - Edo. Lara, Venezuela; soy artista, y llevo más de 14 años dedicando gran parte de mi vida al arte. Actualmente soy músico profesional, la guitarra eléctrica es mi instrumento principal, también toco batería y me gusta mucho cantar. A su vez soy diseñadora gráfica y artista plástico.

Mi experiencia laboral en el gremio inició tocando con bandas locales de cover, hasta acompañar a artistas de talla nacional. Actualmente formo parte de la banda Meganova, proyecto el cual venimos trabajando de lleno esperando puedan disfrutar de este.

My work experience in the industry began playing with local cover bands, to accompany artists of national stature. Currently I am part of the band Meganova, a project which we have been working hard hoping you can enjoy it.

Desde temprana edad comencé mis estudios en la música, mi papá influenció mucho en lo que ahora significa esta para mí, él me enseñó mis primeros acordes en la guitarra y algunas canciones de géneros rock clásico, rock latino, pop rock, reggae, baladas, entre otros. A su vez, a mis 9 años ingresé al conservatorio Vicente Emilio Sojo, en Barquisimeto, recibiendo algunas clases de violin y teoría musical.

From an early age I began my studies in music, my dad influenced a lot in what it means to me now, he taught me my first chords on the guitar and some songs of genres classic rock, Latin rock, pop rock, reggae, ballads, among others. At the same time, when I was 9 years old, I entered the Vicente Emilio Sojo conservatory in Barquisimeto, receiving some violin and music theory classes.

Luego a mis 11 años comencé formalmente con mis clases de guitarra en una academia de mi ciudad, posteriormente he pasado por diversas clases, tanto de batería, donde hacíamos presentaciones en vivo, de piano, pertenecí al coro juvenil del conservatorio, estuve en el programa musical de extensión para adultos.

Then when I was 11 years old I formally began my guitar lessons in an academy in my city, later I have taken several classes, both drum lessons, where we did live performances, piano lessons, I belonged to the youth choir of the conservatory, I was in the musical outreach program for adults.

Durante este proceso conocí varios colegas el cual les propuse armar distintas bandas de géneros popular, a lo largo de 4 años. En periodo post pandemia me llamaron de una banda noctambula de genero popular donde pertenecí por casi un año. mientras tocaba en esta banda me contactan para audiciones para la banda Gustavo Elis, viaje por primera vez sola a Caracas, a audicionar, paso audiciones y tengo el privilegio de visitar distintas ciudades del país gracias a estos shows en vivo.

During this process I met several colleagues which I proposed them to put together different bands of popular genres, over 4 years. In the post pandemic period I was called by a popular genre night band where I belonged for almost a year. While playing in this band I was contacted for auditions for the band Gustavo Elis, I traveled for the first time alone to Caracas, to audition, I passed auditions and I have the privilege of visiting different cities of the country thanks to these live shows.

En febrero del 2023 me contacta una artista emergente llamada Gudnana y me invita a participar en sus temas, a realizar arreglos musicales para sus shows en vivo, en junio de ese mismo año tuvimos la oportunidad de abrir algunos conciertos del cantante venezolano Lasso, donde recurrimos varias ciudades del país.

In February 2023 an emerging artist called Gudnana contacts me and invites me to participate in her songs, to make musical arrangements for her live shows, in June of that same year we had the opportunity to open some concerts of the Venezuelan singer Lasso, where we went to several cities in the country.

Gracias a la musica tuve la oportunidad de conocer a personas increíbles, entre estos a Vicente Garcia, a algunos productores y compositores importantes del pais, así como también he tenido la oportunidad de estar en algunos canales de television importantes, tal como ¨Promar¨,¨Venevision¨ y ¨la tele tuya¨. Programas de television como ¨Super Sabado Sensacional¨ como ¨El show del mediodia con Leonardo Villalobos¨.

Thanks to music I had the opportunity to meet incredible people, among them Vicente Garcia, some important producers and composers of the country, as well as I have had the opportunity to be in some important television channels, such as ¨Promar¨,¨Venevision¨ and ¨la tele tuya¨. Television programs such as ¨Super Sabado Sensacional¨ and ¨El show del mediodia con Leonardo Villalobos¨.

Actualmente formo parte de ¨MEGANOVA¨ una banda de rock, donde la conformamos solamente chicas, estamos trabajando en nuestra musica, componiendo, produciendo y grabando, también trabajando en nuestros shows en vivo, donde presentamos diversas temáticas en cada uno de estos, tenemos un show donde rendimos memoria a las mujeres iconos del rock, otro show donde hacemos rock de los 2000´s y otros mas... Pronto les estaré contando mas sobre este proyecto.

Currently I am part of ¨MEGANOVA¨ a rock band, where we are only girls, we are working on our music, composing, producing and recording, also working on our live shows, where we present different themes in each of these, we have a show where we pay memory to women rock icons, another show where we do rock of the 2000's and others more .... Soon I will be telling you more about this project.

Por otra parte, también me ha gustado bastante la pintura, el diseño, los dibujos y todo aquello que lo compone... Mi primer trabajo fue mostrando mis dibujos en una plataforma similar a esta, luego trabajé en una librería pintando cajitas y bolsas de regalo, a su vez realizaba cursos de diseño gráfico, mientras estudiaba para graduarme de bachiller, al salir estudié diseño gráfico durante 3 semestres, hasta pandemia, es un area que me gusta muchísimo, de verdad espero poder retomarla pronto!

On the other hand, I have also liked painting, design, drawings and everything that composes it.... My first job was showing my drawings in a platform similar to this one, then I worked in a bookstore painting boxes and gift bags, at the same time I took graphic design courses, while I was studying to graduate from high school, when I left I studied graphic design for 3 semesters, until pandemic, it is an area that I really like, I really hope to take it up again soon!
