As one original swifties I feel is necessary for me to talk about Taylor latest double album, I'm not here to talk about the exes, I'm here to talk about Taylor as a musical genius with my favorite songs of the album.

So long, London

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE INTRO OF THIS SONG? It's so different, almost angelical, you can tell if was produced by Aaron Dessner. This song relates to that moment in a relationship when you finally stop trying to make it work, you know there's some dinamics and places you're going to miss, and you simply won't "visit" them alone because it was a thing of your couple and you.

The smallest man who ever lived

This song is PURE female rage and I'm here for it. The lyrics are for the girlies who went through a relationship so bad that feel that their spark is gone and don't feel like themselves. I think this even applies for family and friendship affairs, because there's pain that feels like you're not going to survive it and this is exactly what the song portraits, you even know this bond doens't work anymore for you but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

So high school

Another silly song, this one portraits how nice you feel when you star a new relationship and you feel you're 16 again, with butterflies in your stomach, blushing and histerical laughs. This is a song that feels like when you met the right person.

How did it end?

This is another cathartic one, this song answer the very asked question you get when a relationship ends, the thing is, sometimes you don't even know what happened, this is what Taylor show us here. The grieving of knowing something ended but not fully being in the aceptation phase of analyzing what/how/why things happened.

The prophecy

This song is basically a prayer. I think we all can relate to a situation were we beg God (or what we believe in) if we can change the course of things to be a little in our favor. When you had had enough to the point you feel you can't doing it anymore. The song is sublime, so soft like a sigh. For me, this a song were you can see how talented Taylor is.

Bonus: I can do it with a broken heart

This is a little anthem for us people who have functional depression. A little reminder that we can everything we propose to even if our heart is chattered. I love the fact that the melody and beat are like a silly pop song, I think she did this on purpose to lift our spirits when we are sad.

One think I loved from this album is who Taylor represents the feelings of breaking up a long time relationship, the duel that comes with it, the surviving feeling of superation and the new beginnings. It's an ode to love and it's so artsy and beautifil, this is one of my favorite albums now.
Thanks for coming this far. Greeetings!

I haven't listened to any of this songs except so high school, and I 100% agree with you on that one.
Whenever I listen to the song I keep thinking of my first crush
