Hablemos del éxito de Taylor Swift - ¿Merecido? [ESP/ENG]
Para nadie es un secreto que Taylor Swift es un fenómeno musical equiparable a "The beatles" y el mismísimo Elvis Presley, pero ¿cual es el motivo del éxito de esta chica? ¿Donde radica ese efecto Midas?, en este post lo estudiaremos. ¿Cuales son mis calificaciones para opina sobre esto? Soy una "swiftie" desde su álbum debut.
Para entender a esta chica debemos empezar por hablar de sus orígenes, Taylor Alison Swift nació en Pensilvania, en una granja donde vendían arboles navideños (que cool esto) y empezó a escribir canciones desde muy muy pequeña, sobretodo en el genero del country lo que llevo a que sus padres se mudaran a Nashville, Tennesee y literalmente aquí fue donde nació una estrella, con el sencillo "Tim Mcgraw" en 2006, la rubia logro catapultarse al estrellato. Esto dio paso para que firmara un acuerdo de varios albumes con "Big machine records". De ahi nacieron: Taylor Swift (debut), Fearless, Speak now, Red, 1989 y Reputation.
Y así empezaron las distintas "eras", en donde Taylor nos va narrando diferentes circunstancias por las que fue pasando como una adolescente y joven adulta, aquí tengo que destacar algo y es que no todas las canciones de Taylor son sobre ruptura y para hablar mal de sus ex, su discográfica es riquísima en historias y temas y ahí es donde radica el éxito de Taylor, en la manera en como nos cuenta las cosas, en como se inspira en cosas como comprar una casa (The last great american dynasty) o una oda a tu abuela (Marjorie) para darnos una historia increíble a través de una canción.
Aunado a esto, Taylor siempre se ha mostrado como una "girl's next door" desde como se viste y como es con los fans, llegando incluso a tener sesiones privadas pre-lanzamientos con comida cocinada por ella, es alguien con quien puedes identificarte al contrario de artistas como Beyonce y Lady Gaga y esto también ha jugado mucho en su favor. También tiene un valor agregado que prácticamente no le vemos a otros artistas y es todo el misterio que se suscita cuando nos da pistas, los llamados "easter eggs" de cosas que están por pasar como nuevas colaboraciones, discos o mercancía por salir. También siempre ha marcado tendencias como marcarse la mano con el 13 o intercambiar los brazaletes de amistad.
Otra cosa que la ayudo a consolidarse como artista es las puestas en escena de sus conciertos, Taylor siempre ha montado espectáculos increíbles y esto se termino con "The eras tour", aunque no seas su fan, si vas a uno de sus conciertos lo vas a disfrutar muchísimo por la riqueza de los mismos, toda la suma de las canciones, los vestuarios, el escenario, los efectos especiales, entre otros hacen que sea una experiencia inolvidable para quien acuda a ellos.
También podemos hablar de participación política, diferentes causas sociales como visualizar la comunidad lgbtiq, ser avocada por el empoderamiento femenino, numerosas donaciones.
Dejando de lado los numerosos records batidos en diferentes rubros, de los cuales destacan ser la única persona que ha ganado 4 grammys de álbum del año podemos decir que Taylor Swift ya pasó a ser de los grandes y la historia y esto es muy merecido.

And so began the different “eras”, where Taylor narrates different circumstances that she went through as a teenager and young adult, here I have to highlight something and that is that not all of Taylor's songs are about breakups and talking bad about her exes, her record label is very rich in stories and themes and that's where Taylor's success lies, in the way she tells us things, how she gets inspired by things like buying a house (The last great american dynasty) or an ode to your grandmother (Marjorie) to give us an incredible story through a song.
Added to this, Taylor has always shown herself as a “girl's next door” from the way she dresses and how she is with fans, even going as far as having private pre-release sessions with food cooked by her, she is someone you can relate to unlike artists like Beyonce and Lady Gaga and this has also played a lot in her favor. She also has an added value that we practically don't see in other artists and it's all the mystery that arises when she gives us clues, the so called “easter eggs” of things that are about to happen like new collaborations, albums or merchandise to come out. She has also always set trends like marking her hand with the 13 or exchanging friendship bracelets.
Another thing that helped her to consolidate as an artist is the staging of her concerts, Taylor has always put on incredible shows and this ended with “The eras tour”, even if you are not a fan, if you go to one of her concerts you will enjoy it a lot because of the richness of them, the sum of the songs, the costumes, the stage, the special effects, among others make it an unforgettable experience for those who go to them.
We can also talk about political participation, different social causes such as visualizing the lgbtiq community, being committed to female empowerment, numerous donations.
Leaving aside the numerous records broken in different areas, including being the only person to have won 4 Grammys for album of the year, we can say that Taylor Swift has already become one of the greats and history and this is well deserved.
