Twilight - A Soundtrack Appreciation Post

A lot of people are still debating how cringeworthy and ugly the Twilight franchise is, but a lot of people don't think that way and see it as a vintage childhood memory instead—giving you that nostalgic feeling of the early 2008's.

Well, I'm one of those weirdos.

Today, I'll be sharing some of the Twilight soundtracks (the first movie) that I PERSONALLY love and adore and still have them on repeat in my Spotify playlist. I'll be writing and sharing my fave soundtracks for each Twilight series and posting them here at Hive. I'll be giving the Youtube & Spotify links to each soundtrack so you guys can directly and easily listen to them! I hope you enjoy! :)

Whenever I hear this song, its like I'm traveling to a faraway place. Its very adventurous and mysterious at the same time. I absolutely love this song. I can't get it out of my head. Oh, and I think this song was played at the very first part of Twilight where Bella's dad drove Bella to Forks.

And of course, the OG Twilight song ever. Whenever you hear this, see its video, or even if Paramore themselves play it on their concert, it will and always be screaming TWWWWIIILLLIIIGGGHHHTTT.

Saldy, this masterpiece isn't available on Spotify. But yes, I like this song because this was played in the scene where Bella and Edward went to prom and saw all their friends. I like how mystical it sounds. It feels like whenever this plays, it's like I'm in a trance, dancing myself without any care in the world.

5. EYES ON FIRE BY BLUE FOUNDATION

6. FLIGHTLESS BIRD, AMERICAN MOUTH BY IRON & WINE

Ahh yes. The song where Bella and Edward had that first dance at prom together, with a song that has beautifully made rhythm and melody but with weird-ass lyrics, is playing in the background. Classic.

7. BELLA'S LULLABY BY CARTER BURWELL

As someone who plays the keyboard or piano, I absolutely love this one. It doesn't have any lyrics, but you can feel the Twilightness in this. If I remember correctly, this was played when Edward was playing at the piano and Bella looking over at him. UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL. SO DEPRESSING BUT LOVELY AT THE SAME TIME. SO GLOOMY BUT ROMANTIC. I love every bit of this song. Every single bit of it. I tried learning this one on the piano, but I never got to finish the whole song. hahaha.
