Thank God It's Friday!
Fridays come with a whole kind of vibe, there's this joy that comes with knowing the weekend is here and one will get to chill for a couple of days before Monday arrives again.
For some, they work over the weekend too but I am glad I don't.
For others, they've made plans to enjoy the weekend by either visiting tourist attractions, seeing a movie, having a solo date, or a get-together while others just want nothing but solitude and bed rest after doing some major house chores.
Whenever it is Friday, I get to vibe with energetic tunes which sets my mood for the weekend and today, I am vibing to the TGIF song by XG.

Songs such as these get you off your couch, set your mood and keep you energetic.
I think I first listened to this song about three months ago when I visited my cousin, what drew my attention the most was the beautiful video and costumes and then the beat stke my heart.
I feel like some songs bring out a different kind of personality in a person, and this song did nothing but bring out the party dancer in me.
For all I care, I have been dancing for a couple of minutes now to this particular song, and for every dance move, I clap my hands and give myself a treat for a job well done, for being resilient throughout the week and for believing so much in myself.
We all need this at one point in time, to give ourselves a little pat on the back and just dance away the stress.
My weekend has officially begun and I am super excited about it, I have made plans to enjoy this weekend the best way I can and one of them is attending my nephew's school sports festival tomorrow, in the spirit of sportsmanship I will be rooting for the best team and enjoying the moment to the fullest. I would be covering the event with my phone camera and hyping each team. Of course, I would take a lot of pictures to preserve the memories.
When I return home, I hope to see a couple of movies on Netflix and then on Sunday, I will be having a solo date at the beach with myself and I. Haha
It's fun to have some me-time too and just breathe, so I say Thank God It's Friday, now, let all the fun begin.
