Hello Music Lovers..

Music is powerful in that it has the ability to touch the deepest part of our souls, even in schools, our teachers used music to help us retain basic knowledge and I still remember most of the rhymes my teacher taught me while I was in elementary class.

Some are to teach morals, others are to for basic knowledge like the months of the year, days of the weeks and the likes but there is one I can never forget which is the "magic word song. "

"There are five magic words, there are five magic, there are five magic words that I know.. Please.. Excuse me, sorry, thank you and the last one I love you,"

Something happened recently in my hood which brought this song to mind again, it happened between a father and son, they were at loggerheads which drew the attention of strangers into their home.

The son angrily left the house after the whole drama, the dad on the other hand felt bad about the way the whole thing went but his problem now is, "I'm his dad and I'm older, so he should reach out to me first," And that's the point where they are at right now.

I wouldn't want to go into details about what happened although the dad narrated, but from the look of things the dad over reacted in a way.

Well, let's talk about apology and how hard it can be for some people.

Some people associate apology to age, and social status, I mean does it matter who is older? I feel that if you've done wrong, it requires humility to apologize. I know of course it can be very hard for someone who is older to apologize, however it sets good example to others.

I saw a meme recently and that got me laughing, they said it's usually very hard for a woman to apologize, she would rather die then apologize to her lover, well that isn't so true hehe.

It all begin from your background, if one is being trained to apologize for their misbehaviour, it becomes a part of them and much more easier to practice as they grow older.

We really need to take responsibility for our actions and keep sentiment aside, gender has gotten nothing to do with this.

It's also pathetic to see how some people have even come up with quotes to support and justify their actions and it really amazes me how some people values their ego more than a relationship they've nurtured for years, I mean what would it take you to accept you're wrong and just say "i'm sorry?"

Sorry - Justin Bieber

The word "sorry" Is indeed a magic word as it has the power to mend broken relationship and set matters right.

When said sincerely, it makes the bond closer and foster healing, peace and trust.

It is never too late to learn how to apologize, take a moment and reflect how much they mean to you and throw your pride aside if you know you're the one who should apologize, apologize anyway and break the barrier between you and that one.

Sorry, blame on me- Akon

I was raised to take responsibility for my action, and I can recall how many times I've said sorry to those whom I've wronged even to my younger siblings.

It really takes nothing, because the golden rule says "do unto others what you want them to do to you," If you want others to take responsibility for their actions, it should begin with you and how you handle your mistake.

It begins with how you treat them too and how much you value the bond you share with them.

This music is a very beautiful one about taking responsibility for our actions and not justifying our actions, accept your mistake and work on it.

I have come in contact with people who will rather keep malice with you or distance themselves from you rather than accepting they're wrong and after some months, they'll just show up in your life and expect you to act like nothing happened, they'll rather throw the matter under the carpet and expect things to be the same.

Life doesn't work that way, we are just humans and of course we will hurt others as much as they'll hurt us too, as much as will want them to know up to their shortcomings we too must do the same.

Human - Brandy

When people take responsibility for their actions we too must acknowledge their effort and let go because we are all human.

Forgiveness is a very essential part of our lives, we can't continue to throw away our relationship with others because of their little flaw. If we do, we might just end being lonely because we will never meet a perfect person.

Sometimes our reaction makes it a lot more easier for people to own up to their mistake and we shouldn't humiliate them or blackmail emotionally because they've wronged us.

Brandy is a beautiful artist and I love almost all of her songs and this one is one of my favorite from her.

It's another beautiful day to share three tunes for the #ttt initiated by @ablaze, although I'm slightly late on it as I had a very terrible network yesterday, but I believe it's better late than never and I hope you enjoyed listening and this is also my entry for the Sept Inleo prompt.
