Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 3- Greatest Love of all Cover

Hello everyone it's Vibes Web3 music competition week 3 and I am super excited to have been participating in this competition thus far.

Thanks again to @lordbutterfly for organizing this competition as it has helped me a lot as a singer as I strive to be better with every performance.

I did a cover Greatest love of all by Whitney Houston. I chose this song because it's one with a personal connection. Like the title the Greatest love of all, what's the greatest love anyone can feel? What form of love makes one feel confident and safe? What form of love gives genuine joy and happiness? it's self-love. Loving oneself is the greatest love there is and will ever be.

Before others will love you, you have to first learn to love yourself. You have to see the greatness in you as an individual and believe that you're worth any and everything.

Oftentimes, people tend to depend on other people for love and affection, and they end up getting nothing. They end up being used and dumped but when one loves his or herself, others tend to accord one with so much value and respect. They begin to see your worth and they respect it.

Loving yourself is the first step to happiness and fulfillment. When an individual doesn't love him or herself, there is no amount of achievement that would ever make that person happy or proud.

Self-love solves a lot of issues, it makes it easier for one to live freely and peaceably with all men. Self love is the greatest love there is and will ever be.
This song also talks about encouraging the younger generation to love themselves regardless of any situation or circumstance. It admonishes them to be self-reliant and independent.

The song in general revolves around the concept of self love as the greatest form of love but all this doesn't mean that other forms of love aren't important or significant, it just means that self-love is the most important to an individual, without it no individual can live happily. Self-love is the foundation and building block, upon which any other emotion or form of love will be created and nurtured.

I remember when I use to rely on people’s validation, I remember when I didn’t love myself enough and would doubt myself and capabilities with every given opportunity but that changed the moment I got to understand that I have to first love myself before others can love me the same way.

This song has been such a inspiration to me and that’s why I’d be sharing with you all and I hope it soothes your soul too.
