🎸 Moms drag teens to a rock concert 🎵
Greetings, friends! I hope your weekend was great, whether it was peaceful, dynamic, adventurous, or quiet—whatever you wanted it to be. We always have the opportunity to choose the attitude with which we will spend our weekend.

For my part, this weekend I was celebrating my husband's birthday, and I've also been studying because I have pending assignments for a teacher training course I'm taking. In fact, I took a break from my study time to write my post for you before it gets any later.

Well, I was reviewing the proposals that @galenkp made for this weekend's Weekend Engagement. We always find something to inspire us, for which we are grateful. I can speak for everyone here, right?
🎸 From the office to the stage, an epic Friday
There are several thought-provoking questions that I could very well develop to share with the community, but since I'm studying, it will be easier for me to take advantage of the fact that I already have some photos selected for my blog about a musical show I attended that truly filled me with great emotion.

I found out that on a Friday in December two years ago, there would be a concert featuring mainly rock music from bands that are very popular in my country. The list of bands performing was very long, the concert would start at 4 p.m., and I estimated that they would probably still be playing until 9 p.m.
The venue was in a park practically next to my work, so it was the perfect activity to end the work week. Among all the performances, there were two very special ones, as they were bands I had listened to since my teenage years, so I really wanted to see them with my older children, so I sent for them to be with me.
In addition to my children, my aunt, my sister, my nieces, and a coworker accompanied me. But, I'm not going to lie to you, the most excited and the ones who enjoyed it the most were the adult women. The teenagers were there because we wanted to influence their musical education in favor of our own tastes. It's valid; we are their mothers.
Now I'll tell you the names of our favorite bands from that night:
Zapato 3 and Desorden Público.
💥 Zapato 3: When Nostalgia Hits Hard
We saw several very interesting performances before, but the real excitement came when we heard these old bands whose songs we know by heart.

Zapato 3 performed first, and both the sound and the light show were very good quality. By the way, they will be performing again in my city next weekend, but I already have a commitment, so for now, the next time is still not close.
🚨 Operation Escape: Mothers vs. the Crowd
When the next band, Desorden Público, came on, it was already very late, and there was no way I could enjoy them. They took a long time to get on stage and get ready, and when they started singing their first song, I felt the pressure to leave because I live far from the city.
So after this song, we started to leave, walking away from the crowd. Oh, I forgot to mention that we were very close to the stage, in the front row. So getting out of there was not easy. It was a fairly large show, and it was free. We walked away, trying to keep watching as much as possible, until we lost sight of the stage and the sound became unclear, and they were waiting to pick us up in the car.

That's how that weekend urban adventure ended. What an idea, one of the first times I took my kids to a mass event, and fortunately, it went well.
I hope there will be another opportunity soon to go to a music show with my children, who are now older. Soon they will look like my bodyguards at events like this.
So, we are finishing telling you about one of the best concerts I have attended on a weekend in recent times.

It was definitely a good weekend. You reminded me of a time I went to one where there was a public disturbance. Back then, they were all the rage, haha. Good old days. Cheers.
