Simple Man
My friend @uwelang, a music lover who also likes rock, has created a new tag #RockBest where people talk about their favourite rock songs. This should increase interaction on the platform, especially among music lovers.
I have many favourite songs. One of them is ‘Simple Man’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd, which was inspired by Ronnie Van Zant's grandmother. The song is on the band's debut album, and has the name (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd). The name comes from a sports teacher called Leonhard Skinner, who didn't like long hair on men.
I really like this song, especially the lyrics that describe how a man should live his life - with simple but good values. It's also a Southern rock song that somehow attracts me.
