#RockClassics & #MetalWeekend - Happy birthday Angus Young!

Hi,

for today's #RockClassics by @uwelang and #MetalWeekend by @detlev, we are celebrating one of the greatest artist from the last decades, namely Angus Young, the co-founder and only original member from the legendary band AC/DC.

AC/DC was formed when he was 18, in 1973. The name was picked from his sister sewing machine, where the letters have been written behind it.

As a fact, his signature schoolboy look was made by his sister on that machine. He tried a number of stage costumes, such as Spider-Man, Zorro, a gorilla, and a parody of Superman named Super-Ang, before the schoolboy costume.

He was born in Scotland, but moved to Australia, where his first guitar was a banjo with 15. This shows what a banjo can do to music. After that, he switched to a Gibson guitar.

So, happy birthday, Angus Young!!!
