Actually I wanted to write about something else today, but on a long car journey I heard this song and thought we should talk about it. It's Firestarter by The Prodigy and was released in March 1996 on the album The Fat of The Land. For me it comes right after Music for the Jilted Generation, which is my favourite album by The Prodigy. The video was shot in the London Underground, at Aldwych station. If you look at the list of writers, you can see 8 names, even though the band only had 3 members at the time.

Eigentlich wollte ich heute über etwas anderes schreiben, aber auf einer langen Autofahrt hörte ich dieses Lied und dachte mir, wir sollten darüber reden. Es ist Firestarter von The Prodigy und wurde im März 1996 auf dem Album The Fat of The Land veröffentlicht. Für mich kommt es direkt nach Music for the Jilted Generation, das mein Lieblingsalbum von The Prodigy ist. Das Video wurde in der Londoner U-Bahn gedreht, in der Station Aldwych. Wenn man sich die Liste der Autoren ansieht, sieht man 8 Namen, obwohl die Band damals nur aus 3 Mitgliedern bestand.

Finde es toll, dass man mit einem Mix aus einem völlig anderen Genre so etwas hinbekommt. Für meinen Freund @uwelang, soll ich tiefer in solche Musikthemen einsteigen? Habe ein paar Themen für #music vorbereitet, einige, die interaktiver sein sollen.
