Hello my friends, i´m Alex, and i´m here once more to bring you the best of me. This week i´m trying something new for me and something really different, this week i´m playing piano. I have been playing for around a week so my skills aren´t that good but still i think you guys will enjoy my presentation. The song 'No Juegues Con Mi Soledad' by the Cuban band Buena Fe addresses emotional vulnerability and the dangers of unrequited love. The lyrics express a clear and direct warning to someone who is approaching but who may not have sincere intentions. The lyrical self feels threatened and vulnerable, because it is unintentionally in love and fears being hurt. The phrase 'me muero de miedo ante ti' reveals the deep fear of being hurt by this uncertain relationship. The repetition of 'Si solo vienes a pedir' and 'Si solo tomaras el cuerpo' emphasizes the lyrical self's concern with being used only as a means to an end, whether emotional or physical. He fears that he is just a 'puente', a temporary support, and not a true partner. The insistence on 'No juegues con mi soledad' is a desperate plea for the other person not to play with their feelings and their loneliness, as this could cause irreparable damage. Buena Fe, known for her deep and socially conscious lyrics, uses this song to explore themes of love, loneliness, and the need for reciprocity in a relationship. The song is a powerful reminder that love should be treated with care and respect, and that playing with one's feelings can have painful consequences. The vulnerability expressed in the lyrics is a reflection of the human condition and the search for genuine and meaningful connections.
