LP - Love Lines World Tour

Today I'd like to share a report from the LP concert, which took place on March 2 in Warsaw's Torwar Hall. The tour is in connection with the album "Love Lines" released last September. LP has been my favourite artist for seven years, so I had been looking forward to the concert for a very long time indeed. Their songs deal with themes of relationship emotions, the desire for freedom, acceptance of self and others, and equality among people. The lyrics are written based on the author's personal experiences, they are very emotional and you can identify with many of them. I believe that these factors contribute to the unique style of the LP and allow you to get into each song.

Vérité, a pop singer from New York, made a guest appearance at the beginning. Her songs were different from LP's; it was more of a warm-up before the main concert.

After about an hour of impatient waiting, LP appeared on stage with a ukulele in their hand and the song 'Golden', the first track from their latest album.

What happened next is hard to put into words. Colourful lights, smoke, the sound of drums, electric guitar (😍) and LP's whistling made the audience sing loudly and dance to the rhythm of the music. The singer said "thank you" in Polish after several songs and responded to every loud "I love you" from the audience.

In addition to songs from their new album 'Love Lines', the concert also featured popular songs such as 'When We're High', 'Girls Go Wild', 'The One That You Love' and the best-known 'Lost On You'. I was particularly surprised by the song 'Tightrope', which was my favourite, so I sang it at full throat.

After the concert, the artist went on stage twice for the loud exhortation of the audience. They finally ended the event with the song 'One Last Time' in a lively arrangement, accompanied by colourful lights and a dancing audience.

I will definitely be excited about the LP concert for a very long time to come. It was a fantastic evening, during which I had a great time and finally made my dream come true.

Dzisiaj chciałabym podzielić się relacją z koncertu LP, który odbył się 2 marca w warszawskim Torwarze. Trasa koncertowa jest związana z albumem "Love Lines" wydanym we wrześniu zeszłego roku. LP jest moją ulubioną artystką od siedmiu lat, więc koncertu nie mogłam doczekać się już naprawdę od bardzo dawna. Jej piosenki poruszają tematy emocji związanych z relacją z drugim człowiekiem, pragnienia wolności, akceptacji siebie i innych, a także równości wśród ludzi. Teksty są napisane w oparciu o osobiste doświadczenia ich autorki, są bardzo emocjonalne i z wieloma z nich można się utożsamić. Uważam, że te czynniki składają się na niepowtarzalny styl LP i pozwalają wczuć się w każdą piosenkę.

Na początku gościnnie wystąpiła Vérité - popowa piosenkarka z Nowego Jorku. Jej piosenki różniły się od piosenek LP, była to raczej spokojna rozgrzewka przed głównym koncertem.

Po około godzinie niecierpliwego oczekiwania na scenie pojawiła się LP z ukulele w ręce i piosenką "Golden", czyli pierwszym utworem z najnowszej płyty. Znakomity głos piosenkarki zachwycił cały Torwar.

To, co działo się później, ciężko ubrać w słowa. Kolorowe światła, dym, brzmienie perkusji, gitara elektryczna (😍) i pogwizdywania LP sprawiły, że publiczność głośno śpiewała i tańczyła w rytm muzyki. Piosenkarka po kilku utworach powiedziała po polsku "dziękuję" i odpowiadała na każde głośne "I love you" ze strony widowni.

Oprócz piosenek z nowej płyty "Love Lines", podczas koncertu można było również usłyszeć popularne utwory, takie jak na przykład "When We're High", "Girls Go Wild", "The One That You Love" czy najbardziej znany "Lost On You". Byłam szczególnie zaskoczona piosenką "Tightrope", która była moją ulubioną, dlatego śpiewałam ją na całe gardło.

Artystka po zakończeniu koncertu wyszła na scenę dwukrotnie za głośnym nawoływaniem publiczności. Ostatecznie zakończyła event piosenką "One Last Time" w skocznej aranżacji, towarzystwie kolorowych świateł i tańczącej widowni.

Koncertem LP będę zdecydowanie emocjonować się jeszcze bardzo długo. To był fantastyczny wieczór, podczas którego świetnie się bawiłam i w końcu spełniłam swoje marzenie.
