Macro Photography - Xylocoremium flabelliforme fungus
While hunting for macro objects a few days ago I found a type of mushroom that was quite unique & interesting. I'm sure there are still many types of mushrooms that I haven't found, but I continue to hope that in the future I can find several other unique types of mushrooms.
Like the mushroom I am sharing, this is a mushroom with the Latin name Xylocoremium flabelliforme. In the area where I live, this mushroom is quite rare, but it is still possible to find it, it's just not as easy as finding some other mushroom species.
Why do I say this mushroom is unique & interesting? This is because apart from its rarity, it also resembles broccoli in its shape or also at first glance like the shape of a human brain.
Meanwhile, in terms of color, this fungus from the Xylocoremium flabelliforme family from the Xylariaceae family has a beautiful color, namely bright yellow.
Apart from that, the texture of this mushroom itself is also quite interesting because when you touch it it will fall off little by little like powder. For me this is unique & interesting, what about you? :)

Wonderful macros, I love the soft little details. They do resemble little broccoli trees.
Thank you @mmckinneyphoto13 :)
the mushroom looks so beautiful, as usual you managed to take some amazing shots, plus your professional editing makes the mushroom so beautiful, like coral in the ocean
Thank you :)
