My First Time at the Bologna Portico Festival!
Hello friends of this community! How are you?
I hope everything is going well, and that you're having a great time right now. I wanted to share with you some photos I took yesterday evening. As you know, I returned to Bologna after the weekend spent in Sicily, and I found out about this event. I'm not even sure what to call it, an event that, as far as I understand, happens every year in the city of Bologna.
I'm basically talking about the Bologna Portico Festival, an event that takes place from June 4th to 9th and involves the famous porticos of Bologna, which I believe are a UNESCO heritage site and are very famous for those visiting Bologna for the first time. I had already seen these porticos the first time I was here in the city.
Essentially, during these days of the event, you have the opportunity to attend a completely free show of lights, music, and colors right at the porticos of San Luca. Moreover, it's an event wanted by a quite famous singer in Italy, Cesare Cremonini, who is actually from Bologna.
I must say that this event is very much felt by all the people from Bologna, but I think that some people even come from outside Bologna, especially young people. As you can see from the photos, there were really a lot of us, and I have to tell you that it was a very beautiful and also very fun thing, because it fosters a sense of community.
For me, who was participating for the first time, it was truly an exciting experience. It also allowed me to meet several people, including some very nice guys.
I hope that this type of event, which is very beautiful, will be organized again. In fact, probably in the next few days, I will also attend some concerts that will always be organized nearby, so see you at the next post! Kisses to all!
