Hola mis amigos de Vibes ; para esta semana 40 de temática libre en la web 3 music competition,estaré presentando una canción que compuse recientemente Llamada “tumbao” y está dedicado a Israel cachao López, popularmente conocido como “Cachao”.

Hello my friends at Vibes; for this 40th week in the free-theme Web 3 music competition, I'll be presenting a song I recently composed called "tumbao," dedicated to Israel Cachao López, popularly known as "Cachao."

Israel “Cachao” López fue un reconocido bajista y compositor cubano, ampliamente reconocido como el inventor del mambo. Nacido en La Habana en 1918, fue un maestro del contrabajo y pionero del jazz afrocubano y del estilo musical descarga (jam session). Cachao compuso más de 3000 danzones y revolucionó la música cubana al fusionar el jazz con ritmos afrocubanos. Tocó con numerosas orquestas y músicos destacados a lo largo de su vida y ganó varios premios Grammy.

Israel “Cachao” López was a renowned Cuban bassist and composer, widely acknowledged as the inventor of the mambo. Born in Havana in 1918, he was a master of the double bass and a pioneer of Afro-Cuban jazz and the descarga (jam session) musical style. Cachao composed more than 3,000 danzones and revolutionized Cuban music by fusing jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms. He played with numerous prominent orchestras and musicians throughout his life and won several Grammy Awards.
