Hoy quiero mostrarles un nuevo cover que grabado, se trata de una de mis canciones favoritas del rock venezolano (Somo Otros) de mano de la legendaria banda Candy 66.

Somos Otros es perteneciente a su album Evolutio, lanzado en el año 2009 y el cual llegaría para imponer lo que sería el nuevo sonido de esta banda que de su originen "nu-metal", se enmarcaría ahora en un sonido mas pop y alternativo, manteniendo su esencia metal....una mezcla bastante interesante. Y fue "Somos otros" una de las joyas que mas representariía ese nuevo cambio, con ritmo sencillo y movido, melodias pegajoas y lirica espiritual, diria yo. Fue uno de los temas que mas exploto su marcada popularidad en ese entonces.

Pero esta version senti que pude mejorar un poco mi tecnica vocal, pero aún me costo dominar los altos...por tanto nuevamente pido disculpas por lo defectuoso de la voz. Ademas que aun no he cambiado las cuerdas de la guitar y tiende a sonar desafinado en ciertos acordes. Aún así creo que sí se puede tripear, para los amantes del rock y quien guste escuchar. Hecho como siempre con cariño. Saludos!

Today I want to show you a new cover that I recorded, it is one of my favorite Venezuelan rock songs (Somo Otros) by the legendary band Candy 66.

Somos Otros belongs to their album Evolutio, released in 2009 and which would come to impose what would be the new sound of this band that originated "nu-metal", would now be framed in a more pop and alternative sound, keeping its metal essence...a very interesting mix. And it was "Somos otros" one of the jewels that would most represent this new change, with a simple and moving rhythm, catchy melodies and spiritual lyrics, I would say. It was one of the themes that most exploded its marked popularity at that time.

But this version I felt that I was able to improve my vocal technique a bit, but I still had a hard time mastering the highs...so once again I apologize for the faulty voice. Plus he hasn't changed the strings on the guitar yet and it tends to sound out of tune on certain chords. Even so, I think that it can be tripped, for rock lovers and whoever likes to listen.
