Sonic Chronicles - Experimental Soundtrack

COVER.jpg

Hello Everyone :)

It's been a while since i shared a musical experiment.
Although i haven't given this type of content much prominence, it continues to be one of my favorite pastimes, but unfortunately i have practiced it less frequently than ever before, mainly because it is a pastime that requires long periods of time and some privacy, since most of the tracks i produced were created and experienced alone and during long hours in the early hours of the morning.
But time passes and i no longer have the necessary availability or disposition, however, every now and then another experiment comes up :)
It ends up working as a kind of therapy.

For those who come across my blog for the first time, allow me to share some "words" about these experimental soundtracks:
Despite having grown with some musicians around, and having taken classical guitar lessons from an early age, i don't consider myself a musician, not even closer. Here i share raw sound experiments influenced by a mixture of various musical styles and movies soundtracks.
Now that i have made this little introduction let’s go over the details.

Let's get technical

About the software i used to create this soundtrack:

DAW (Digital Audio Workstation): Reason Propellerhead
Digital Audio Workstation "DAW" developed by the Swedish company Propellerhead Software.
This software simulates a rack of signal processors, hardware synthesizers, mixers, etc, thus mimicking the actual operation of electronic music production.

Below, some of the virtual devices used:

  • Thor Polysonic Synthesizer
This unique synthesizer features six different oscillator types and four unique filters allowing you to dial in synth sounds that are completely new.

  • Redrum Drum Computer
Drum machine built-in pattern sequencer, ten sample playback channels and a huge library of drum kits

  • Malström Graintable Synthesizer
Synthesizer using Graintable technology that is a cross between granular synthesis and good old wavetable synthesis.

  • Dr. Octo Rex Loop Player
Reason’s loop player with audio loops that have been sliced into their rhythmic components.
