Oggi testiamo un microfono dal marchio improbabile: lo Yoga DM 878! 🤯 Con il suo look vintage e una costruzione recente, sembrava perfetto per un esperimento fuori dagli schemi. L’ho piazzato sulla cassa della batteria 🎶 aspettandomi un suono sporco e lo-fi… ma la sorpresa è stata un’altra! 😮

Today, I’m testing a microphone from a rather unexpected brand: the Yoga DM 878! 🤯 With its vintage look but modern build, it seemed perfect for an unconventional experiment. I placed it on the kick drum 🎶 expecting a dirty, lo-fi sound… but the result surprised me! 😮

Did it give more bass than you expected? I couldn't find that one, but I assume it's a budget brand. I see they do some fairly cheap drum mics, but then I know you like to try something different.

Yep, budget one. Actually, the point of trying microphones out of context is to look for the surprise effect... So I didn't expect much; in fact, the microphone was rather neutral. Anyway, I won't keep it, and I put it up for sale!
