It's funny that tape is considered retro when it's what I grew up with. Unfortunately I didn't get into taping my early days with making music, so that is all lost. I guess you can emulate how tape sounds, but the real thing may be easier. Digital can be too clean at times.

I also went through tape and in fact the first demos with my band were recorded on a cassette tape!
Now it's almost funny that people use a tape recording as if it were the most unusual thing in the world, and even generations with a few more years (or like me, no longer very young) are into this vortex of rediscovery of an all-too-familiar method.
Anyway, the sound is interesting!
