Drums + Tape + FX

Cosa abbiamo qui? Stavo sperimentando un passaggio su nastro, musicassetta, di un pattern di batteria facendolo poi passare per un Yamaha MM 30… Un effetto così anni 80!!!

What do we have here? I was experimenting with passing a drum pattern onto tape, cassette tape, then running it through a Yamaha MM 30... Such an 80s effect!!!

It's funny that tape is considered retro when it's what I grew up with. Unfortunately I didn't get into taping my early days with making music, so that is all lost. I guess you can emulate how tape sounds, but the real thing may be easier. Digital can be too clean at times.
Rock on!
I also went through tape and in fact the first demos with my band were recorded on a cassette tape!
Now it's almost funny that people use a tape recording as if it were the most unusual thing in the world, and even generations with a few more years (or like me, no longer very young) are into this vortex of rediscovery of an all-too-familiar method.
Anyway, the sound is interesting!
Congratulations @ale.dri!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
