¡Hola a todos, queridos amigos de Hive y de esta talentosa comunidad que es #AlienArtHive! ✨ Les deseo a todos un increíble comienzo de fin de semana, como siempre, estoy encantada de compartir una vez más un poco de lo que hago digitalmente para esta comunidad, así que hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el último trabajo en el que he trabajado, una increíble portada para un álbum de Spotify llamado «Be a Star» Si quieren ver brevemente el proceso, ¡me encantaría que se quedaran hasta el final! 🏵️♡.
I've shared with you different album cover designs I've done, so here I come with other again, as I'm working on my Commissions portfolio, where I have a section for album covers, so far with this one, I've done 5, I like them more and more! 🌟 This time I wanted to do something similar to those images with amazing characters and full of personality and decorate everything with different letters, something more like a design that is in conjunction with the drawing or design of the main character ✨🎸.
He compartido con ustedes diferentes diseños de portadas de discos que he hecho, así que aquí vengo con otra de nuevo, ya que estoy trabajando en mi portafolio de Comisiones, donde tengo una sección para portadas de discos, hasta ahora con esta, he hecho 5, ¡cada vez me gustan más! 🌟 Esta vez quise hacer algo parecido a esas imágenes con personajes increíbles y llenos de personalidad y decorar todo con diferentes letras, algo más como un diseño que vaya en conjunto con el dibujo o diseño del personaje principal ✨🎸.
The name of the album, as I mentioned, is called “Be a Star” ⭐The idea was to have a main character playing the guitar as the focus of attention, someone quite passionate, in a matter of colors, I chose the warmest ones. That said, these are the images I based it on, the first as a reference for the character's pose and the second as the aura, tonality and colors I would like it to have 🧡🎧.
El nombre del disco, como ya comenté, se llama «Be a Star» ⭐La idea era tener un personaje principal tocando la guitarra como centro de atención, alguien bastante apasionado, en cuestión de colores, elegí los más cálidos. Dicho esto, estas son las imágenes en las que me basé, la primera como referencia para la pose del personaje y la segunda como el aura, tonalidad y colores que me gustaría que tuviera 🧡🎧.
Now yes, we begin! 🎸✨ As I always like to mention before for those who don't know me, the program where I do all my digital drawing work is Clip Studio Paint and the graphics tablet I use is a Gaomon S620 for anyone who might be interested! ♡ The first thing I do is clearly the sketch based on the reference, using a red color as it is not a color that causes me confusion later 🧡.
Ahora sí, ¡empezamos! 🎸✨ Como siempre me gusta mencionar antes para quien no me conozca, el programa donde hago todos mis trabajos de dibujo digital es Clip Studio Paint y la tableta gráfica que uso es una Gaomon S620 ¡para quien le pueda interesar! ♡ Lo primero que hago es claramente el boceto en base a la referencia, utilizando un color rojo ya que no es un color que me cause confusión posteriormente 🧡.
When I felt comfortable with the sketch, I lowered the opacity of that layer and started to do the Lineart! ✒️♡ Here I add the details of the final drawing, such as hair, expressions, clothes and other details. This time, I used a different brush for the Lineart, I always use one that has a marker texture, but this time I used one more like a pen or pencil, I really loved how the face, eyes, hair, etc. looked with this brush! 🤩🧡
¡Cuando me sentí cómodo con el boceto, bajé la opacidad de esa capa y empecé a hacer el Lineart! ✒️♡ Aquí añado los detalles del dibujo final, como el pelo, las expresiones, la ropa y otros detalles. Esta vez, usé un pincel diferente para el Lineart, siempre uso uno que tiene textura de marcador, pero esta vez usé uno más parecido a un bolígrafo o lápiz, ¡realmente me encantó como quedó la cara, ojos, cabello, etc. con este pincel! 🤩🧡
Once I had the Lineart completely ready (I honestly loved it 💗) I went on to add the base colors! ♡ First I painted the whole drawing with a gray color that would serve as a base layer so that the rest of the colors wouldn't go outside the border I already painted. Then I added the base colors of the skin, hair, clothes and that wonderful guitar! 🎸🤟🏻
Una vez que tuve el Lineart completamente listo (sinceramente me encantó 💗) ¡pasé a añadir los colores base! ♡ Primero pinté todo el dibujo con un color gris que serviría de capa base para que el resto de colores no se salieran del borde que ya había pintado. Luego añadí los colores base de la piel, el pelo, la ropa y ¡esa maravillosa guitarra! 🎸🤟🏻
Once the base colors were added I started with my favorite part which is the rendering! 🎨🧡 I always start with the face, adding blushes, then shadows I also add very soft shadows and tones for other details like the eyelids or also to give texture to the skin. Here I added stronger shadows on the arms and also those little light details, and of course, some lilac highlights which I feel gives it A HINT ✨.
¡Una vez añadidos los colores base empecé con mi parte favorita que es el render! 🎨🧡 Siempre empiezo por la cara, añadiendo coloretes, luego sombras también añado sombras y tonos muy suaves para otros detalles como los párpados o también para dar textura a la piel. Aquí añadí sombras más fuertes en los brazos y también esos pequeños detalles de luz, y por supuesto, unos reflejos lilas que siento que le dan UN TOQUE ✨.
Here I finished with the rendering of the face, doing the coloring of the eyes and mouth ✨ After this, I started rendering the hair adding lots and lots of little spots of the same color range which I blur well, this gives a texture to the hair that I love! 🧡 I also add faint highlights and then stronger ones in carefree streaks. I've also changed my way of rendering hair lately and I am SO HAPPY with the results of this type of hair rendering 🥰♡.
Aquí terminé con el renderizado de la cara, haciendo el coloreado de los ojos y la boca ✨ Después de esto, empecé a renderizar el pelo añadiendo montones y montones de manchitas de la misma gama de color que difumino bien, ¡esto le da una textura al pelo que me encanta! 🧡 También añado luces tenues y luego más fuertes en mechas desenfadadas. Últimamente también he cambiado mi forma de renderizar el pelo y estoy TAN FELIZ con los resultados de este tipo de render 🥰♡.
After that, I went on to add some shadows to the clothes, rendered the guitar and started to give very strong lights, which I loved, they gave a very fiery touch to the character. I have to say that I really liked how this character turned out, I feel that his expression is very hot, I love the pose, THE HAIR, I honestly don't know how I him it, but I really liked it 🎸✨🤟🏻.
Después de eso, pasé a añadir algunas sombras a la ropa, rendericé la guitarra y empecé a dar luces muy fuertes, que me encantaron, le dieron un toque muy fogoso al personaje. Tengo que decir que me gustó mucho como quedó este personaje, siento que su expresión es muy candente, me encanta la pose, EL PELO, sinceramente no se como lo hice, pero me gustó mucho 🎸✨🤟🏻.
After I had the character fully rendered, I started with the cover design. I first chose a deep orange color for the background and then added of course, the album lettering! 🎧✨🧡
Cuando tuve el personaje completamente renderizado, empecé con el diseño de la portada. Primero elegí un color naranja intenso para el fondo y luego añadí, por supuesto, ¡las letras del álbum! 🎧✨🧡

Y eso sería todo, ¡mis queridos y talentosos amigos Hivers! 🤟🏻✨¿Qué os ha parecido? ¡A mi personalmente me ha gustado mucho, no por el resultado, sino porque últimamente he cambiado muchas cosas en mi forma de renderizar y dibujar y cada vez me encantan los resultados de estos nuevos cambios, por ejemplo aquí me atreví a cambiar el pincel para hacer el Lineart y me gustó mucho! También el render del pelo, uso otros pinceles, he ido cambiando todo poco a poco y me gusta mucho, notar que vas mejorando cada vez no tiene precio 💗🥰.
