Welcome to AfriTunes Week 167. I’m @akwash360, and I’m excited to be here once again, sharing another powerful rendition with you all. For this week’s performance, I’ve chosen to do a cover of the song “Your Name is Yahweh” by Braimah featuring Nathaniel Bassey, two incredibly gifted gospel music ministers.

This song has inspired me on so many levels. It doesn’t just sound good, it carries a message that reflects the nature and greatness of God. “Your Name is Yahweh” exalts God as the miracle worker, the one who has ultimate power and authority over all creation. It reminds us that God is sovereign.

He moves in his own time and according to His divine will. No one can question His decisions or challenge His power.
One of the most touching parts of the song for me is how it emphasizes God as a destiny changer. It speaks to the truth that God can transform anyone’s life, no matter their situation. He lifts the broken, restores the lost, and brings light to places of darkness. It is this very hope that the song instills—a reminder that with God, nothing is impossible.
As I sing this cover, my prayer is that someone out there will also feel encouraged, uplifted, and reminded of God’s unchanging power. Thank you for listening, and I hope you enjoy my rendition as much as I enjoyed preparing it.
