Welcome to the 275th edition of Hive Open Mic, where I’ve chosen to do a cover of the worship song “Yeshua” by Jesus Image. It’s a deeply moving worship song that I love so much, and it has inspired me in countless ways. Here are some of the reasons why this song means so much to me:

Firstly, the song beautifully portrays the sovereignty of God and glorifies His holy name. Yeshua is a Hebrew name that means Salvation. It is another name for Jesus, given to Him as a result of His finished work of salvation on the cross of Calvary. Personally, calling Him “Yeshua” reminds me of His perfect love, a love so great that He gave His life for my sins on the cross.

Secondly, the song carries deep meaning and spiritual weight, lifting the name of the Lord on high. Every time I sing it, I feel its impact within me. It draws me into a space of genuine worship, where I can feel a deep spiritual connection. Unlike some gospel songs that lack depth or meaningful messages, this one is rich in spiritual value and capable of teaching, inspiring, and uplifting anyone who listens.

I truly love this song and feel inspired by every part of it. The songwriter did an incredible job in creating such a powerful piece, and I must commend the backup singers and instrumentalists as well. They all played their roles excellently in bringing the song to life.
