TTT: Classic Disney song, ROCK version

Hii, dear friends of Hive and the #Music community.

Today is my first #threetunestuesday, and I'm very excited to share three songs that I love and that I usually listen to when I need a little motivation and good energy.

I think I'm part of the generation that calls ourselves “little” adults, and that includes loving old Disney movies and listening to their songs over and over again while, I don't know, working in the office, for example.

About two years ago, I discovered a singer named Peyton Parrish, who does rock covers of Disney songs. It's spectacular; he gives the songs a different touch and energy. It's a very different version from the originals and other covers I've heard. So, thanks to musical initiative started by @ablaze, I'm sharing them with you, especially with Disney lovers like me.

I also invite you to look up Peyton Parrish and listen to the other covers he has done. I think he is a tremendous artist. All of his covers were released on an album called The Most Magical Album in the World, which made it number one on the Billboard charts. In general, he has sung songs from Tarzan, Encanto, Aladdin, Frozen, The Lion King, etc.

Here are my three favorite Disney songs in rock versions:

🤘I´ll make a Man out of you (Mulan)

🤘Go the distance (Hercules)

🤘Colors of the Wind (Pocahontas)

One of the versions I like best is this one, Colors of the Wind, because it breaks completely with what we know about the song. We are used to that soft song, a pop ballad with feeling, and here the listener is deceived. One second it starts softly and the next the drums are already working their magic, further enhancing the power that characterizes the song.

Bonus...*

There are three songs, but why not a bonus? Good things deserve to be shared, and this guy is really good at Disney songs. Everyone knows this song, it's a classic among classics, and the ballad duet version is incredible. Even those of us who aren't in love can feel the magic between Nala and Simba. This version is exactly the same, but the drums, guitar, and Peyton Parrish's husky voice give it a special touch.

🤘Can you feel the love to night (The Lion King)

Well, friends, that's all for today. Honestly, give some of these songs a chance, even if you're not a fan of this genre. It's worth it; it's like a way to reconnect with your inner child in a new way.

I hope you liked the post. Thank you very much for reading and supporting me. Hugs. 🤘
