Qawali Meets Electronic: The Unlikely Union of DJ Night

Hello Peeps!!
I am hoping that you all are doing well in your life.
I was in University when I came to know about the event which is going to happen tonight. It was Qawali night and then it happened Dj night. I invited my cousins too on this event as it is considered as one of the best events of the university. It was arranged by the Punjab Student Council (PSC) of our university. So I got ready and I wore the traditional dress which is Kurta Pajama.
Then I went to the football ground along with my cousins because the event was happening there. There was huge crowd of students and everyone was enjoying the event.

I went near the stage, the stage was ready and all the audience was waiting for the Qawaal (Singer). Music is an art that is a source of enjoyment or amusement for the people. I must say that it is a therapy as it heals broken people and the people who are happy enjoy it more. Music removes worries from the life of people. It makes them happy and gives them relief from the daily life. Whenever they feel sad, they usually listen to the music to make their mood fresh.

After few moments, the Qawaal along with his team took their positions on the stage and started tuning their musical instruments.

Everyone was waiting for his performance. As soon as he started singing, the crowd started shouting with joy.
He sang different qawalis and many students flowed money at his performance.

More than 200 students were dancing infront of the stage and were feeling the music. My cousins and I also danced infront of the stage.

As soon as the qawali ended, the stage got ready for the dj night.

The girls were not allowed on the dj night. So they went back to their hostels. The dj night started and the students showed their moves and danced at the beat of the music!

However, I and my cousins couldn’t dance because we were tired. So we went back to our hostel. It was a memorable night which I enjoyed with my cousins.
