Cambodia Hosts the ASEAN 2022 - People Celebrations for Peace

Hello dear all friends in Asian community! Today, I would like to share you about the new report in my country especially in Takhmao town.

I always ride my motorbike to Takhmao Market to buy vegetables meat and custom for homemade cooking and other necessities as usual. On the way there, what I encountered was a huge procession with a lot of Khmer and classical music and there were roadblocks everywhere.

The procession was led by a group of people wearing traditional clothing who were carrying flags and playing music; many people were also waving flags as they walked behind them. Soon after that, another group came out with drums and other instruments playing loudly; they were followed by more people wearing traditional clothing carrying flags on their shoulders, walking behind them in a straight line.

Finally, a group of dancers appeared at the end of the procession; they danced while following each other closely so that no one fell behind or got too far ahead (even though it looked like they did).

On the morning of March 20, 2020, when was on my way to the market as I told you when I saw the crowd of people.

At the time, I did not know what the march was for, but I heard shouts of congratulations “congratulations to Kandal for being number one in terms of clean environment when Cambodia hosts the ASEAN Summit” and cheers for our country.

I had no idea about these things until my friend told me that he had also participated in this walk.

The event celebrates Cambodia as a host of ASEAN meeting. The event was held and appear in Phnom Penh City since about last month.

The procession started from the Independence Monument and finished at Takhmao. In front of the procession, there were many different kinds of vehicles such as cars and motorbike, but the most surprising thing was the Ambulance Car.

The ambulance guarding all areas, followed by another one with drivers on both sides. On the back of the procession were two other ambulances guarding all areas too.

They provided such a good security and safety service there must be a top leader coming as well because there are so many police.

I think this is a very good idea to celebrate ASEAN meeting in Cambodia because it shows our country’s diversity and culture as well as being open minded towards other countries’ cultures too

Participants were sharing to all Cambodian and both international visitors and staff working on social media, as well as many journalists. All media, both radio and television, participate and present live and indirect images through major newspapers and magazines.

For me, Cambodia is a beautiful country. I'm always amazed by how much respect the people have for the government and how willing they are to contribute to public ceremonies. Many motorbike drivers are on the road despite the fact that they cause traffic jams, but that's okay because they all drive there because they want to show their love for their country and its government.

This is also a part of the lively activities in the society of Cambodia today, hope you all like it and will wholeheartedly support it. We hope that this piece of information will help you to feel refreshed and healthy and have a good night's sleep forever.

I am very happy to be here today, and I am glad that I can celebrate ASEAN with my own country.
