A Beautiful Wedding Decor 💙🤍 - What an Incredible Second Day! 💒
Greetings everyone from Cambodia, as I informed you at my last blog that I will updated you about the second day of my brother in laws wedding ceremony. So, here I am. It was a two-day ceremony, and on the first day, the bride and groom practiced the customary wedding rituals, paid their respects to the ancestors, and walked about symbolizing the path the new pair would follow in their lifetime.
The party that followed the wedding was anything from intimate. After eating meals together, the couple and their families went to the bride's house, which was gorgeously decorated with flowers, balloons, and paper lights hung throughout. We were all greeted by the bride's family here with traditional music and dancing from Cambodia.
It was a fantastic honor to be a part of the wedding, which was lovely and memorable. It was truly inspiring to witness the enormous amount of dedication, effort, and figured that the bride and groom put into every single detail of their special day. The celebration of love was truly lovely.
Bride's Side Event
It's difficult to fully express how incredible it is to see a traditional Cambodian wedding. It was an occasion that will live in memory because of the captivating décor, lovely music and dances,
... and motivational speech from the monk. The decorations are made in the Khmer style using the basic conventional methods, and they use the color combination of blue and white.
The young wedding dancers' flawless movements as they swirled around the room while wearing Cambodia traditional costume, and dress with a gorgeous embellishments was a sight to behold.
Of course, a gathering this enormous would never be complete without food! Even so, this is first for the guests to carry and walk throughout the ceremony procession. The dinner followed that. The meal, a multi-course feast that lasts for hours, is one of the signature activities of a Cambodian wedding.
As part of the custom, the bride and groom must arrive before the event to meet the guests on the second day of the wedding in Cambodia. Every guest must be greeted by the couple, the bride and groom. They must move from one side to the other, first from left to right, then back to left, until they have greeted every guest on both sides. We are all dressed in traditional Khmer attire at this time. Several of the wedding guests will enjoy themselves greatly by conversing and listening to background music.
We met at the bride's side on the second day of the wedding to discuss the couple's expectations for marriage and how to make the wedding party successful. The parents encouraged the bride and groom to remember that communication and love are the keys to a happy marriage after speaking to the audience on how to bring balance and serenity to the couple's relationship and after that they leaving the bride and groom to change their clothes once more.
Now we all are waiting outside.
Cambodian Music 🎶
The sound of the instruments filled the air as the old guy played the Khmer song with enthusiasm, making the wedding ceremony joyous. All of the visitors were transfixed by the sound, which was crystal clear and flawless. The excellent music and the old man's deft playing enthralled everyone. The wonderful tunes continued to be hummed by the guests even after the ceremony had ended and the music had stopped playing. Everyone appreciated and cherished it because it was such a unique event.
My friend smiles broadly when I look at his face, which makes me laugh. One of my other friends then brings flowers and puts them in his ear like a Khmer Lady dancer does when she performs on stage. I believe I am about to meet a worthy opponent. Even though the party is still going on, there have already been numerous instances of laughter and humiliation. I will now indicate how pretty funny this is to everyone.
While I am posing with friends in a very funny thing that she always do when we take picture.
Somehow I finally arrived at the wedding because I have gone back home in the afternoon to complete my work because my son can't replace because he was busy with his studying so I come here twice, I haven't even changed clothes yet. But I also don't want to excuse when my friends ask me that she wants to have a picture with me.

Weddings :)
Mostly happy events but I am wondering why I sometimes see people cry at weddings... (just kidding, I know it is from emotions 😍 )
Music - it is a must at weddings, but there are so many different traditions and cultures, obviously with different music too. Do you know maybe what is the name of that instrument, that has a bow too? Is it a kind of string instrument?
Cambodian classical music always involved with many tool dear as it is for combination and following the traditional one.
I am glad you interested with the instrument. The one with the bow, we call it "Tro", Cambodian Tro which made of coconut shell part, and in some area people usually cover the bottom of the stick with snake skin. I probably think it likely to caught an attention because the soundbox is very small, but the neck of this instrument is ways too long.
Polyphonic classical music I can say, with just a small carrying tool but it comes so loud while listening to their performance, so beautifully but ridiculous how my friends still fell asleep.
Woah!😲 How incredible was that!
The venue, the decors, the outfits you wore there, its just awesome. But actually my eyes really got hooked to the foods at the table. Haha.
Weddings really are great kind of experience.
I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the venue, decor, and outfits that I wore with my friends at the event. Have a great day too!
