Today I'm going to be presenting to you my cover for the song "911" by Lawrence and Darasimi Oyor. This song talks about being a 911 contact for Jesus, that is being an emergency contact for our lord Jesus. The singers solemnly pledged to be ready to answer the call at all times. They pledged to do whatever it takes to make Jesus happy, to wipe His tears, to bring His sons back to Him and to yield and do His will no matter what it may cost them. This song gives me joy when I listen to it and at the same time fills me with a deep sense of responsibility because the song is not just a song but a means of pledging oneself to God.

The theme for this week is "darkness", so I chose this song to go with the theme. Now if we look at the world these times, we can see that we are in dark times. So many people going through hard situations all around us. In a way we can say the world itself is experiencing darkness. Therefore as Christians, we are supposed to be light of the world; Jesus's own emergency contact. As you listen to this song, I hope to remind you once again that you are God's emergency contact, therefore you must be ready to answer anytime He calls you. And not just to answer but to do His will no matter the cost.
