Hoy traigo una canción que comencé hace un tiempo, que con el tiempo he recurrido a ella siempre, a arreglarle algún que otro detalle de mixing.

Hasta que, por fin, puedo decir que está lista. Es una canción "distinta" para lo que acostumbro a hacer, realmente en cuestiones de tiempo y estructura, en esta ocasión rompí esa fórmula que me estaba imponiendo. Esta canción no tiene el típico formato de estribillo, intro / estrofa / puente / estribillo, porque prioricé que las melodías fueran lo más relevante de la canción.

Vale decir, que es una canción hecha en casa, con un micrófono muy normal de un "Home Theater", al igual que el beat, es hecho por mí, aunque cuando la comencé la hice encima de otro beat, de hecho, esa versión me gustaba mucho más, pero como los sonidos no eran míos, ni el sample ni los drums, decidí hacer todo original, para evitar problemas.

Respecto al mixing vocal, buscaba que tuviera una presencia acentuada y para eso tuve que también grabar la voz distinta, más cerca del micrófono, levantando la voz y haciéndolo más nasal, aunque en algunas frases es cierto que aplico mucho aire intencionalmente, para dar variedad de color en la voz.

Disfruten de una de mis obras, últimamente estoy considerándolo como mejor canción, cada vez que publico una nueva, es porque de verdad le agarro mucho cariño a mis canciones, ya no creo ni pienso en que uno cuando publica una canción te liberas de ella, porque creo que hay melodías que forman parte de ti y difícilmente puedes negar que te mantienen en pie, aunque te hayan hecho sentir lo contrario.

Today I bring you a song that I started a while ago, which I have always come back to over time to tweak a few details of the mixing.

Until, finally, I can say it's ready. It's a “different” song from what I usually do, really in terms of time and structure. This time, I broke the formula I had been imposing on myself. This song doesn't have the typical chorus, intro/verse/bridge/chorus format, because I prioritized the melodies being the most relevant part of the song.

In other words, it's a song made at home, with a very normal “Home Theater” microphone, and the beat is also made by me, although when I started it I did it over another beat. In fact, I liked that version much better, but since the sounds weren't mine, neither the sample nor the drums, I decided to make everything original to avoid problems.

Regarding the vocal mixing, I wanted it to have a strong presence, so I also had to record the voice differently, closer to the microphone, raising my voice and making it more nasal, although in some phrases it's true that I intentionally apply a lot of air to give variety of color to the voice.

Enjoy one of my songs. Lately, I've been considering it my best song. Every time I release a new one, it's because I really grow fond of my songs. I no longer believe or think that when you release a song, you free yourself from it, because I believe that there are melodies that are part of you and you can hardly deny that they keep you going, even if they've made you feel the opposite.
