Una band in piazza

In a large square in the historic center of Palermo, Sicily, perform sometimes young musicians. The small band I photographed not many years ago consisted of a violinist who could also sing and two other musicians. The three buskers carried their rudimentary amplification system with them on a bicycle.

In una grande piazza del centro storico di Palermo, in Sicilia, ogni tanto si esibiscono dei giovani musicisti. La piccola band che ho fotografato alcuni anni fa era composta da un violinista che sapeva anche cantare e da altri due musicisti. I tre artisti si portavano appresso il proprio sistema di amplificazione con una bicicletta.
