Apple Music vs Spotify - Battle of the music streaming giants
Apple Music vs Spotify
I made a video comparing two of the giants of the music streaming world; Apple Music and Spotify. I have used Spotify for many years, as well as Apple Music, since when it was just iTunes. I think the platform has really done a lot to match Spotify in the past few years, including building a massive library that has finally surpassed Spotify.
When it comes to choosing a music platform, however, there's more to it than just the sheer numbers. Besides, all these platforms have most of the music on them now anyway that most western people will find almost anything they're looking for on there. The missing stuff is a YouTube search away.

This information was sourced from both websites: Apple and Spotify. I use both platforms also so I've corrected the data to be more accurate too.
Overall I prefer Spotify to Apple Music, but that's a personal thing. I like the look and feel on the interface better and the playlists feel more organic to me. That's because the playlists are mostly created by users like myself on Spotify. On Apple Music, the playlists are mostly put together by professional curators so they don't feel as diverse as they should be.

I use Spotify (family plan), but then I was never into Apple stuff. I'm not sure if it works on my Linux PC, but Spotify works fine on the web, which is mostly how I use it. The generated playlists are not too bad, but the album selections tend to come up with the same stuff. I can find most music I want, although I looked up Neil Young and he withdrew his music over some of the podcast content.
My own album is on these services, but I'm not getting many plays. Mind you, I don't publicise it much.
That's one of the issues with Spotify.. they lost some music due to protests. They went from 85 million to 80 million songs at some point.
I didn't realise you had an album :). I'll search your name and see
I can understand artists wanting control of where their music is used. They get paid very little per stream anyway. I just put mine on there for a little more exposure. I have a common name, so see what you can find.
I use Spotify. I’ve never used Apple Music but I may decide to switch next month just to see if Apple Music will be good too.
It has great reviews though but I’d give it a try to know if I’d prefer it or not
Spotify's advantage is that they have an ad supported free version
In my case I used Spotify. But now it became hard due that reason that platform leave my country. But vpn sometimes helps😉
Also I don't have apple account just being Android user.
Anyway I think both will find their users.
Thank goodness for VPN :)
