My Week 33 Vibes Web3 Music Competition Entry: *Blessed Assurance

This week, I am truly grateful to share my heartfelt performance of one of the most timeless and powerful hymns ever written – Blessed Assurance. As part of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 33, I wanted to bring something deeply personal and spiritually uplifting, and this classic hymn felt like the perfect choice.

Performing Blessed Assurance is always a special experience for me. The message of the song is rooted in confidence, hope, and the joy of salvation in Christ. Every word—“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine, oh what a foretaste of glory divine”—reminds me that no matter what life throws at us, we can rest in the promise of God’s grace and eternal love. While singing, I wasn’t just performing for an audience, I was testifying to my faith and allowing the Spirit to flow through the music.

In this rendition, I wanted to keep the sound authentic yet fresh. I played the piano as my accompaniment, creating a soft but powerful foundation that allowed my voice to carry the weight of the hymn’s message. Each chord and progression was intentional, designed to draw listeners into a place of peace, worship, and reflection.
