Siren Songs.Saturday's Selections No.6

IMG_20250503_195515~2.jpg

It's Saturday, and if it weren't for that uncomfortable ray of light penetrating my eye, I would have lingered a little longer in bed, next to Chloe of course. Maybe a little solar distortion would have saved the moment. It's just that... have you seen the date? I feel like I've been working for 10 years inside the uncomfortable shaft of a radioactive mine... and these four days off have been really great for me.

IMG_20250503_125000~2.jpg
The malevolent ray of light infiltrated through the beam of my window.

The good thing is that my boyfriend has been helping me a lot. I admit it, I've been lucky, and you would have loved the sight of me with my happy little face, standing in the bedroom doorway, all disheveled, in a shabby robe, asking for breakfast while he cooked, and also cleaned the floor of the house: Could you ask for more?!!

Well, I guess I deserve it too, don't I? I also work a lot at home from time to time.

Yeah, seriously, I don't know since when I could have hours just for myself, and to stalk some good texts on the networks...some networks, because many times Facebook fails you, you know, that algorithm has lately endless mechanisms to suggest and show you pages that praise the lives of successful public figures like Dior, Vans, Gap, Casio, Nivea, Miniso, Domino's, Nintendo, Pokémon...and how many people left their skin on the street to achieve fame. But, that's okay, the difficult thing is to believe the same story every time, is that in the end the pages seem like a fairy tale, ... "with phrases of overcoming disguised as poetry"... uff, and I got bored.

This car seems a bit small for my purposes...we'll see the next one.

None of that really seems inspiring to me... besides, I'm absolutely certain I'll never be a millionaire, at least NOT LIKE THE PROSPECTS ON THESE PAGES SAY.

So, the best thing you can do on a quiet, sunny Saturday afternoon, with silences that sound like music, is to put your headphones in your ears, rest your head on the couch, and enjoy these three pieces I'm bringing you.

First up is Amira a little girl who surprised everyone with her spectacular voice about eleven years ago during a The Voice competition held in the Netherlands, singing O Mío Babbino Caro in her first performance.

This little girl literally left me speechless; her talent made my skin crawl, and I don't understand how, at such a young age, she has the sensitivity necessary to interpret songs composed by adults at certain complex stages of their lives... perhaps children can only imitate so well that they manage to convey strong emotions... or perhaps she just has a great musical gift, and she sings like a divine angel.

IMG_20250503_200215~2.jpg
This one is a little bigger but uncomfortable...Mmm.

Secondly I suggest this piece performed by Emilio Piano ft. Lucie titled Maison, and it is a true masterpiece... there is the piano fluttering like butterflies, the voice on tiptoe like ballerinas, and the perfect language to talk about love... I swear I don't know what it says, I didn't translate anything, nor did I need to. You just let yourself be carried away by each note and suddenly you are floating in the middle of the Firmament, surrounded by phosphorescent particles that shine and stick to your skin... is it magic? No, it's music... and the black and white of the video is sensational.

IMG_20250503_200152~2.jpg
This one is out of the question, in fact it is very poorly focused.

And for the end, I left you this song performed by Lusaint: Wicked Game, another divine and profound angelic voice that paralyzes and penetrates your soul from second 0:47, right there he releases the first high note from between his vocal cords and you are hooked on the song. What a treasure I discovered... right now I still feel myself floating (floating again) between the soft and strong tones of the music.

I'm looking forward to more Saturdays like this. I'm looking forward to going out in a car and having this music blasting loudly in my ears, with that mix of speed and air on my skin, and a long road ahead that leads nowhere, just to spend hours and hours listening to good music.

This is excellent! Suitable for gathering all friends who are interested in a trip to sing my Saturday songs.

You may agree or disagree, but these tracks are amazing, and they all have siren voices...best wishes for you on this fabulous Saturday.

Always very grateful for your reading.

When I was a boy my father told m6 brother and I to learn and help as nuch as we could my mother 8n home work activities wince she was facing it all alone. That helped me a lot as well to build my self as an independent man who needed no woman to face a home alone but also a plus skill that allows me to have some home details with my wife, concerning to cleaning or cooking suprises. It seems you man also prepared him self in those matters huh? Since you could wake up today well served in all ways.

The Last one Wicked Game...ohhh...I Loved it so much, I'm downloading it right now, it's so my type, ...beautiful.

I'm glad you received an excellent education at home, especially coming from your father. At home, we have to share everything when it comes to responsibilities. I love writing humorously about certain situations in our lives, especially because I know it can attract attention, and in a way, I'm challenging men to give more of themselves at home, without machismo and complexes. My man helps me a lot, and other times he gives me work, because he tends to be very disorganized. Imagine me collecting his shoes in the middle of the living room, two sweaters on top of the furniture, and when he gets ahead in the kitchen, it looks like he's preparing a hotel buffet dinner... I seriously have to multiply myself by ten... hahaha... so when he's inspired at home, I just let it flow... ahhh, and he's the best at making breakfast, that's for sure... hahaha.
I'm glad you liked the last track... it's beautiful...
I also have it saved to enjoy from time to time. Shall we pick you up in the car to listen to them?

I really love your style of combining your day to day life and mixing certain songs you like, it's a nice read with your own words and your own experiences with high quality music. I think those cars are small anyway. You go back and forth with the story where everything is related, like life itself.

I don't know if you are a millionaire, but you are a millionaire in your heart and it starts there. The artists you chose are all amazing, I only knew the first one who also made an impact on me the moment I met her and all three of them model the voice in an impressive way. Thank you for such a relaxing and beautiful post. Have a great day. Hugs!

Thank you, thank you... you're so kind, and I'm always grateful. I love this way of writing, although the truth is I'm lacking in many skills. I just try to read people who do it beautifully and inspire me. There's you, nanixxx and galenkp... and someone very special telling stories, leopard0. You know, the delay in publishing this post was precisely because of choosing the music... actually, discovering it, because I hadn't the slightest idea at the very beginning which one to bring you... but the delay was worth it, right? Cars will always seem small when you're surrounded by good, nice people willing to go with you listening to good music.
Thank you so much again... I only wish you Health, Love, and Peace.

The Amira girl was born for that. There is no doubt about it. 😶 If she has the voice of an older woman, what will her voice be like when she grows up? There are unexplainable things in life... The second song you share with us really makes your skin crawl. Thank you... is about life and its moments, what happens when you get to the end and the fragility of things and happiness. Also about how big the world is when we grow up and there is a question that is asked all the time... where does it all go?
Wicked Game is a song I always have on my lists... friend, keep up the good work. Do you have a driving licence?
One day when you're far away from here driving on a beautiful road and with a good musical background, call me to feel your freedom! 😉

Good to see you now. 😃 No salgas despeinada aquí en Hive no es necesario jajaja...

I appreciate your musical appreciation and the French translation of the track. Amira is a young woman today who has made it big musically. She's even dedicated part of her earnings to building playgrounds somewhere in South Africa, where her mother is from... because as a child, she visited her grandmother and noticed that the children didn't have a playground... she's managed to build about 18... I read this in YouTube comments. The second song is a gem, and I think these are pieces that not everyone can appreciate... I already have the third one on my playlist.

If you see my morning look, you'll run away, hahaha... lucky my husband is used to it... :))))

I'll call you? I swear, miss, I'll call you... 🤳🏼!

Thank you for... being there.
