Hi everyone. Welcome to Afri-tune week 53. This is @adaezeincrist, welcoming you back. I believe that I met you all well.

I am back again with another wonderful song by Nathaniel Bassey. The title of the song say " Tobechukwu" Tobechukwu means to praise God. Tobe: means keep praising. Chukwu: means God. So, the summary of the song is keep praising God no matter the situation.

My motivation comes from what is currently happening in my country. A lot of us feel as if God has refused to answer our prayers after all the time we took to fast and pray. But is not the way we are seeing it. God has his own way of working his plans out. All we need to do is just to keep praising him knowing very well that someday, our prayers will be answered.

Just like Nathaniel Bassey said " even before we pray God have answered us" this is correct. The answer comes in many ways.

I want to encourage my Nigerian brethren to keep faith and praise God with the wordens of this song. At the right time God will show up.

Thanks to everyone who hopped in to my blog this beautiful day. A comment from you will go a long way for me. Thanks 🙏🙏

Tobechukwu Lyrics by Nathaniel Bassey ft. Mercy Chinwo
[Chorus]
Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu (Meaning “Praise God”)
Tobechukwu
He has done it for me
Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu
Tobechukwu
He has done it for me

[Verse 1]
Even before I Prayed
Jehovah Nissi answered Me
(Tobechukwu
He has done it for me)

He has Taken away my Fears
And Given me Peace of Mind
(Tobechukwu
He has done it for me)

I like the way you were able to relate this song to the happenings in our nation.
You have entered this week's contest with a melodious song which is pleasant to the ears.
We pray that god take charge and heal our land. Keep it up dear musician!

Indeed we need this song in Nigeria now seeing the way things are going. People are losing heart and faith in God but we shouldn't as God has not said it is over. In due time I want to believe that things will be better. I wan dey talk with faith like my friend @jessicaossom

You've done so well @adaezeinchrist by presenting this song so well. It's the confidence we have in him that when we call on him, he's always ready to answer us that keeps us going. Yes, he answers prayers, it might just not be the way we want it but he knows best. Weldone 👍

Wow this is one of the most powerful entries I have ever seen from you.

You know what? You really got the song and it synchronised with the happenings.

Hmmm your slow dance it's amazing.
The intro to the end sincerely twas Wow. Keep it up.

Are you thinking of releasing an album soon? I see potential locked up here.

Be consistent. See you next edit
