Hola a todas y todos, espero que estén muy bien. Hoy les traigo algo bastante diferente, he grabado en mi estudio un vocal cover de una agrupación de Thrash Metal brasileña llamada Sepultura, la canción es Terriroty. Tenía muchos años sin hacerlo y hoy he decidido retomarlo.
Hello everyone, I hope you are very well. Today I bring you something quite different, I have recorded in my studio a vocal cover of a Brazilian Thrash Metal band called Sepultura, the song is Terriroty. I had many years without doing it and today I decided to take it up again.
Este tema tiene mucha importancia para mi ya que fue la primera canción de metal que me aprendí cuando vivía en Tinaquillo, conocí unos chicos en el pueblo que estaban buscando vocalista y me dijeron "oye amigo si quieres entrar a nuestro grupo apréndete Territory y luego vienes a ensayar", me encerré horas en mi casa aprendiendo esto pero lo más difícil para mi fue poder desarrollar la técnica de Gutural.
This song is very important for me because it was the first metal song I learned when I lived in Tinaquillo, I met some guys in town who were looking for a vocalist and they told me "hey buddy if you want to join our band learn Territory and then come to rehearse", I locked myself for hours in my house learning this but the hardest thing for me was to develop the technique of Guttural.

El gutural se caracteriza por la voz rasgada y distorsionada, es una técnica que se desarrolla con la práctica y el tiempo donde las cuerdas vocales se fortalecen hasta el punto de crear una voz desgarrada.
The guttural is characterized by the voice being raspy and distorted, it is a technique that develops with practice and time where the vocal cords are strengthened to the point of creating a torn voice.
Muchos artistas utilizan su garganta para hacer estas voces pero esto puede ocasionar graves daños a la voz, en mi caso yo utilizo mas las cuerdas vocales mediante la técnica de la presión en las mismas que con el pasar del aire crea el sonido gutural.
Many artists use their throat to make these voices but this can cause serious damage to the voice, in my case I use more vocal cords using the technique of pressure on them that with the passage of air creates the guttural sound.
Luego de meses de práctica pude montar varias canciones con el grupo EMISARIOS en el pueblo, fué una de las mejores épocas de mi vida y gracias a esforzarme en aprender esto hoy en día puedo disfrutarlo todavía.
After months of practice I was able to perform several songs with the group EMISARIOS in town, it was one of the best times of my life and thanks to my efforts in learning this I can still enjoy it today.
