Music And Customer Attraction.

I love to play songs at my shop but I just play songs because I want to but not because I’m aiming at something serious. I see so many people who play songs at their shops especially people like make up artistes or any kind of job in particular.
I don’t see them as noisy people though because I love to play songs too and most times when I’m playing songs, I always try to make sure that my speaker is at the highest volume.
I noticed that I always have good sales but more sales anytime I’m playing song but never thought the music have any effect on the sales. I’m just being that music lover at my shop without having any idea of how music boosts my sales.

I sat in the shop today and I must confess that it’s been a very dull day at the shop. Normally, I mostly sell goods in the morning and hardly have the time to eat until I’m done with my morning set of customers but today was just so boring.
Just because I was bored, I had to take a nap but made sure that my goods are safe before sleeping.
No single customer even had to wake me up that they wanted to buy something.

After I woke up, everywhere still remained boring so I charged my speaker for some minutes because it was off. I put the speaker on and played some Cardi B songs. I rarely listen Cardi B but I don’t know why I did that today. Also, I opened my Shazam application so that whenever she’s singing, I can always sing along.
Let’s jump on the songs I listened to.

Bodak Yellow

I only know that I have heard this song before but I’ve never streamed it. It’s not my fault but I don’t just do more of rap songs until today. I was singing the lyrics with my Shazam application and my neighbors at the shop even asked me if I was having a party because they rarely see me in such mood singing and screaming out loud.

I enjoyed listening to this and moved unto another song.

Money

I didn’t select this song but immediately that song ended, this was the next song on the list. I put on my Shazam again so that I will sing along to it as well.

I had a nice time listening to this as well.

Enough

Listening to this song, I could tell that I have had enough, lol.

While singing along to this, I saw a young couple. I welcomed them into the shop and attended to the very well. After they were done shopping, they said that the song I was playing and screaming at the peak of my voice made them realize that there is someone who sells groceries here.
So music can actually invite more customers? I was surprised.

Since that happened, I kept on playing more songs hoping to have more customers who will come to patronize me.
