If you ask every artiste what their biggest achievements in their music career may be, “I want to win a Grammy awards” that’s what you will hear them say but are they working towards it? Do they even know the steps to be taken to win a Grammy awards.

Steps in winning the Grammy awards

Submission process which is very crucial. We see thousands of artistes submit their songs for the awards but only a few of them get picked. Why will that happen? It’s mainly because of music quality.

Screening process: After all your favorite artistes submit their songs, they have to choose the best. The best songs needs to be chosen for the nomination.

First round voting which is done inside the house. This is mostly done between the awarders to determine who is most likely to win the award.

Then, the nomination will be announced to the world. If you ever get nominated for the Grammy awards, just know that you’ve made a very good song, performance or album.

Final round of voting which is done inside the house too. This time, the winner will be declared in the house but not to the world and is also based on the song people vote for the most.

And here comes the award night. That’s when your favorite artistes get congratulated for winning their awards.

Tems - Love Me Jeje

Tems got awarded for the best African performance and I think right now, we can say that she is the biggest female artist to come out from Africa.

She has a lot of International recognition and songs and has songs with great artistes like Wizkid, Justin Bieber, Future, Drake and others.

SZA - Saturn

I have no idea if this is SZA’s first Grammy awards but we could tell that she was so happy. She won the best R&B song titled Saturn.

I had no idea that such song exists until the Grammys but here we are now. I’m a big fan of the song.

Beyoncé - Cowboy Carter

Beyoncé won the awards for the best country album. If “Cowboy Carter” wasn’t awarded, I wonder what album will be because there is no album that beats that.

Maybe everyone should learn from Beyoncé since she has the highest Grammy awards.

It’s all about making quality music. All the songs that got nominated are all quality songs and not just because they are popular and this is why they say that if you ever get nominated by the Grammys, it means you make quality music and in a nutshell, every artiste is a winner.

If you are an artiste and aiming at winning the Grammy awards someday, focus on more international collaborations which makes you more popular and every song or album you drop, make sure that they are all qualified to be accepted and recognized by the entire world.
